Yes! Everyone should write similar answers so Nintendo can finally listen. My answer was: "They are really good looking and of high quality for the price it asks, but the supply issues around the world, especially in America have truly decreased my interest towards amiibo due to how difficult is to find them.
 
Today's the day I've officially lost to Amiibos. At first I was like "I'll only get my absolute favorite characters", so I got Samus, Link and Mario. Couldn't resist Bowser because he just looked amazing. Today I grabbed Pikachu and Fox. Then I looked at one webshop... and they had all these supposed rare ones available... So yeah:

I got the last Pit apparently. I checked and they're out now. They also had Lucario, doubted, but held off.

Well, after I get a jump as I think the battery to our car froze to death yesterday.

I think the only way to defeat scalpers is to form the "Pan-Euro-American Amiibo Community Horde" (P.E.A.A.C.H) and beat them at their own game. We would sell to only Amiibros at retail (plus shipping).

The only problem is there will be Amiibros with good intentions, initially, but basically turn into Gollum when they find themselves with a garage full of Ikes ready to distribute.

Does his mask show a lot of black like mine (initially I thought it was chipped but it seems to be an intended worn out effect) or is pure silver around?
 
FINALLY, the tracking number gives me information on Rosalina. Says it's in Ohio right now & will arrive Saturday.
 
So I called the TRU that didn't get any amiibo last night and they got everyone in except Ike and DDD. Thankfully the rep I talked to said she would call me if they get them in stock today (expecting another shipment later today) so I can put it on hold. Let's hope she keeps her word.
 
So just gonna ask, is it right now worth it to pick up Rosalina from ebay or is target going to get another shipment? I figure if they're not then I may as well get it now while the price is still kinda reasonable.

No, I meant different bases even between the Smash line. Smash has such a varied selection of characters and I like the little logos each franchise has in Smash. And Nintendo could have done better than just making the base red for the Mario line. DI has different molds for every base. Even the Avengers, who have destroyed pavement bases, have slight differences like extra rubble on Hawkeye so he can strike a cool pose (without clear poles). I do however LOVE how dynamic some of the poses of the Smash line are.

I'm friends with a Gamestop employee, we met for lunch today and traded some Amiibos. She informed me that first dibs on extra Shulks after preorders are given to employees, then customers afterwards. She said her particular store, and pretty much most of the ones around here have employees who are claiming the extra Shulks. She doesn't have any numbers on extras, but knows with fair certainty that there are multiple employees per store that are going to hold them for themselves.

Not saying this is right or wrong, but could potentially make it extra difficult to secure one, beyond the already perceived low numbers.

Depends on the store manager. Some GameStop managers prefer items be sold to customers rather than employees holding stock for themselves.

That was a long survey. So much social media questions. One of the things I want them to do is something similar to the PS Blog. I also want them to do more similar stuff to what they did at E3 with the demo play throughs except don't make it tied down to only special events like E3. I want them to do it like weekly on YouTube, I'd watch it.
And I told them to fix the amiibo problem.

Nope, nothing wrong with that at all. I run nightfalls and raids with a regular group on Tuesday evenings or I would offer to help later if needed.

I called my manager and corporate and they both said the closed in store pickup orders were cancelled and you'll never ever get them...

no really though, that just means they have been transmitted to the store for pickup in the next few days as far as any one knows.

Edit: It means at least ONE of the amiibo in your order are on the way because they get marked as closed for some reason even if all your items arent in that current package
 
Having never ordered from gohastings before, I'm a bit worried that I haven't received a follow-up email to my Sheik order from Saturday. They emailed once to confirm the order, but nothing else since then.

All of that's to say, if anyone knows where I can obtain a Sheik I'd be much obliged. No stores anywhere near me (Columbia, SC) seem to have one in stock. I've thought about importing, but I'm trying to avoid that if at all possible. Mostly only because of the cost.

I believe she's going to be the last one I attempt. On the bright side I should have a Rosalina coming from Target at some point, though the tracking # they gave me still won't display anything on the UPS website.
 
I had two orders. One with Shulk, one with the rest of the wave. I got Bowser in last week. It didn't show as closed then, but that order shows as closed now. I went and paid everything off last night, so hopefully I get an update soon.

I ordered Diddy and Mac from them in December. Diddy was delivered, Mac was not. I didn't hear anything until I got a shipping notification for Diddy and a cancellation notification for Mac. Poor communication.

wait wait, what does this mean? I just noticed that my online order now is showing closed too. I paid them all off in store this weekend though...I'll still get them right?
