When wave 4 was announced, I was checking every few hours to see if preorders had gone up yet. But now, between it being impossible to find any wave 3s outside of Bowser an the fact that there's no info on when wave 4 will start, I'm starting to get really burnt out and just not care. Nintendo had my axe at the strt of this, but I just don't have the time or patience to dedicate myself to Amiibo hunting. And I'm not even looking for a full collection - I just want the characters I like.
I think someone said it was available at Nintendo World Store?

Mine came from TRU, and they did an excellent job. Came in a box filled with bubble mailers.
Looks great and nice to know they are using boxes! I do take my Miibos out, but I do take photos of them before I do, so clean boxes make for a good photo
The guy I asked at Gamestop said wave 4 preorders will never be a thing, but I don't really think he's reliable >.>
Sorry, wasn't able to go. Last minute meeting came up and they brought in food. I'll try to swing by after work and yep, talking about Shulk
For the US, the Mario 10 preorders haven't come out yet (asides from Amazon), and they're the earlier release.

My Rosalina UPS tracking says delivered by Friday and it left the origin UPS facility already.
Ok so here is my two day adventure.
Yesterday, received my Toon Link from Best Buy.com. He was off the stand and completely flopping around in the box (broken at the plastic stand). I was like, oh shit what to do. Luckily Toon Link is "supposedly" a common.
So here was the plan. I went today to the TRU (Yonkers, NY), and decided to see if they had any new Amiibo's. I saw the usual casuals and was about to give up, until I saw 3 Toon Links at the top right! Score, I picked the best looking one. (2 left when I left there). Then, I decided let's see if they have Bowser. Score, but all the boxes were messed up, so I decided not to grab any of those (I already have one, he's not perfect but the box is, so if I replace him, the new one has to be sealable collection worthy). They had about 6 Bowsers (if anyone is missing him and needs him).
Then, I went to Best Buy, and decided, let me just return it, cause exchanging it probably wouldn't work cause they never have any Amiibo in that store. So I get there, return the item, no problems. Went over to the Amiibo section and it was just filled with Mario, Peach, Luigi, (the commons essentially). No Toon Link.
So I made the right choice! Successful Amiibo hunt today! Waiting on the rest to come in via pre-order. Hope the Lucario comes fine. Lucario and Sheik should be coming in soon, hope they don't come in busted.

To anyone who's gotten Lucario shipped to them from TRU... did you get a scented marker with your order? I got a Pit from them yesterday that was ordered on 12/24 and he came with a scented marker. Just wondering if that was an "apology" or just a bonus or advertisement or something.

Local Toys R Us got wave 3 yesterday night and already sold out on Ike. So mad right now.
My problem with Nintendo World is they keep saying they'll update their Twitter, and they NEVER do.
Could you please post your location when doing so, it's confusing when we have 6 different Areas of the world posting here.

Edmonton. This is only for one location. Thankfully another TRU hasn't got them yet. I can confirm Sonic and Mega Man are out in the wild however.

I know that feel. All the TRU locations in my city(Winnipeg) got their shipments in yesterday morning and sold out of everything.

No but for me it is an hour train ride, and that ride could cost me the ability to pick up a figure if they haven't announced it.
Luckily I was able to get a Marth and Villager from them, but that was a CRAZY day

Pretty small, think gamestop only has enough to fulfill preorders.
I know of a local gamestop that had a 1 preorder per day policy (northern NJ, US), but for example one of the scalpers got 64 of them as he went everyday with his family, so he had his daughter, son, and wife order one each day as well.
Ugh I especially hate the stories when they get the whole family involved.

I'd be willing to trade the one I pre-ordered when it gets here if you've got a Fox (or if you can find a Dedede, or Gamecube games?). I've never even played Xenoblade; just bought one because I just got caught up in the hype of limited exclusives

It was not. It was Mr. Sketch. It was a light blue and kind of went with Pit's packaging. Must have just been an "apology" for my order being late. Just one marker, though. Not even a whole pack. It did say LIMITED EDITION on it!

I would totally do it if I had the money and vacation time. Plus my Uncle is there so I could visit. I'd be excited to line up in the snow actually. I still think it's pretty fun, frustrating that we know jack crap, but still fun.
