That would be shady, but I don't trust any retailers... I wouldn't be surprised if they were like "Sorry, we actually don't have him in stores!"

Saw this and tagged with Rainbow Curse (which I'd been meaning to preorder anyway) for free shipping. Now they just need to put Wave 4 of Smash up...

Also, got my Shulk (from my preorder) no problem, so hooray! It's a good thing I don't care about the packaging and have been chucking it though, because there was a big old price sticker in the upper right corner over his face.

Luckily the GameStop I've been going to hasn't put the stickers on my preorder boxes!

Alright Amiibros, I wanted to give back to this little(?) thread that has brought me much joy, sorrow, and best of all, the heads up on when to get Amiibos pre-ordered. I only usually purchase one of each Amiibo, but back when TRU cancelled all those orders accidentally, I ordered another one and even when they reinstated my order, I decided to keep both just in case one fell through. They both came and I was going to maybe keep the Lucario for trading purposes, but I think all my stuff will eventually come through.

So, what does this mean to you? Well, what I would like to do is give this Lucario away. This is a U.S. offer only as I don't feel like dealing with international shipping (I love you guys around the world, though!). However, I only want it to go to someone who doesn't already have a Lucario. I'm relying on the honor system here. So, what you can do is PM me telling me you're interested. I have to go out of town for a funeral, but when I get back on Tuesday I will pick a name from those who PM me and I will send this Lucario to you at no charge.

Again, if you have one already (I don't care if you usually leave one in a box and open another one), please don't PM me. I'm hoping to bring some joy to someone who couldn't get their hands on one.

Also, not sure the best way to kind of refresh this over time. I want people to get a chance, but I know this thread moves quickly. Here's some pictures of it.

my Gamestop is holding pre-orders longer than the 48 hours because of how confused people are with amiibo releases, there goes waiting in hopes somebody doesn't pick theirs up :/

It is funny because I canceled my Kirby Rainbow order and reordered it earlier today so I could get Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Peach for $7.99 with free shipping (Already had Peach but my 3 year old daughter broke her....she will have to wait until she is a little older to play with her)

I went ahead and ordered the entire Mario Party line for free shipping this time
 
Missed the preorder train on both NA Shulk and NA Lucario.

Got a shipping notice and tracking number a minute ago from the Gamestop online Shulk order earlier today. Yes! I was sure it would be canceled.
 
If anyone has an extra Shulk they'd like to sell to this poor GAFer, I would really, really appreciate it. I have a couple of extra Amiibos as trade but I'd rather be able to buy one at retail if someone would be so kind.

My kid is dying for a SHulk and I missed the preorders. (shame on me) :(

If anyone can assist and has an extra, please, please, please PM me.
 
Just got a call from BestBuy, Corporate is bringing the hammer down and restricting Meta Knight to one per person. So my BestBuy guy called to inform me that I can only take home one of the Meta Knights.

I guess i'll live, but it kind of sucks because one of those Meta Knights was for my friend who missed the pre-order (a belated Christmas gift from me somewhat)
 
Grabbed my Shulk Amiibo today, they said they got 8 preorders and 8 were shipped, any that don't get picked up by tomorrow are fair game apparently

Yes, I imported one back in the day when PSO consumed my life after a bad breakup with my ex-fiance in college (like, over 1000 hours over a couple of years consumed). It was pretty excellent.

I sold it after I got married. It's like...I didn't need that part of my life anymore. It represented some bitterness and ill feelings. Plus I sold it for over $100. And I sold PSO+ for over $100.

That sucks, since i understand what you are doing it for, but you just gave Amiibo-GAF so much hope in that one statement.
 
Sigh still bummed about missing Shulk this morning... if anyone has an extra Shulk to trade with me I would be eternally grateful.

He said yes, to make up for corporate canclelling two of me preorders, he gave me a list of some stores that should have some loose ones.

I'd give it out to my fellow CT Amiibros, but I really want to get my friend his Meta Knight, i can only say that some Best Buys WILL have loose Meta Knights

So you're saying I have to go stand in line at Best Buy now? Will it be the 13th or 20th?
 
I think Shulk is most comparable to Fox in quality. I am really impressed. His clothing like fox has a lot of detail. Cool jacket, boots, and knee pads. Intricate coloring and line design on apparel and sword. His face is legit not lazy like Marth. Even has hair color gradation. My dude's sword is straight and no paint bleed over on hand. I highly recommend Shulk. Not that it means anything at this point, like u could change your mind and go pick one up. He may be my fav with regard to realism and quality. :)

still waiting for my main. And he looks awesome from what I have seen. King Dedede.

Unfortunately yes, it'll be a Lucario situation where they only have pre-orders and whatever's left is left.

He had no release date, but when I mentioned reddit rumoring about a 2/20 release he said that sounds like a very believable rumor.
 
Damn it I hate doing orders from my phone, it keeps giving me an error for payment and I won't be by a pc for a few hours, when I'm sure all preorders will be gone

Make sure you are selecting ship to home for each item. Sometimes you can get errors because they randomly make some default to picking up at store. Check each one. Could be why there is an error
