Crap. I got notice that my Shulk was ready for pickup at Gamestop wed night. When I got home I noticed the guy gave me Sheik instead. I called that night but no answer.

I'm surprised the register didn't block the pre-order pickup. I'm going to try to make it to store today but concerned i may get problems and that they likely don't have my Shulk anymore. Any advice on how to get this resolved??? I'm hoping my receipt can confirm that Sheik got scanned instead.

I have a shocking update. Gamestop empolyees found out there was one extra Shulk in stock and held it just in case there was a pre-order mistake. Many people including other employees tried to get it. When I called in they figured it was mine. I picked it up a few hours ago.

Even more surprising was they even had 3-4 Bowsers there, too. There was an empty peg for Toon Link as well. I think I might buy him in case he ever shows up there soon.

Most surprising of all, (not sure if this has been mentioned...) was that Peach, Yoshi and DK were on "sale" for $9.88. Interesting....anybody else notice this or something similar at your stores? o_o

Yo, I was wondering why I saw a DK for that price at my Walmart. Didn't notice/check the prices on Peach or Yoshi
 
I think Toon Link like Diddy. Scarce at first but common after a while. There was plenty at my Best Buy while I went to pick up MH4U. Amazon still hasn't ship my Toon Link and I just realized I should have picked him up and used my GCU.

Just to ask anyone's MM3D LE canceled on them from Amazon? Still hasn't shipped just like my Sheik and Toon Link and I'm worried they may cancel.

Ohhhh yeah! My Shulk finally arrived! I'm really feeling it!
 
I was surprised to see a bunch of Sheiks at Best Buy today. They had more Sheiks (6) than Bowser (3). They even had 3 Toon Links! Nothing new though.
 
LOL for some reason despite picking up my Sheik preorder at Gamestop the day they called,
they still had my preorder listed and a Sheik locked in the cabinet for me.
 
Picked up all my presales at TRU today, only amiibo I'm missing now are Villager, WFT, and Meta Knight! Also I've gotten them all on sale :)
 
Does anyone have a Little Mac amiibo they'd be willing to trade for a Rosalina amiibo? I'd be willing to pay for it if possible as well, within reason of course.

Did gamestop change something recently with looking up pre-orders? I went in to check my pre-orders and usually you just give them your phone number and they look it up but the employee wanted me to list everything specifically that I was looking up before asking for my phone number to look it up in the system.

$20 a pop is nearly face value. I think you need to be a bit more realistic. You might be able to make a deal with Sheik and $20 though.

people are probably being really shitty with preorders and nintendo stuff recently

Let him dream ha. Hell I got a deal the other day I thought. At my local flea market a guy had some for sale. He runs a retro game and comic type booth. He had a few Marth European editions for 40 each. I already have one but a few friends needed them so I got him down to 30 a piece. They dried up on Amazon.De and .IT I think so I grabbed them. One of my buddies backed out so I still am sitting on one. I guess I will use it for trade bait if I get hosed on Wave 4.

I am sure I am not the only one sitting on this page.... Soon.... I feel it

I only hit a few local stores this afternoon and didn't see any 3B amiibos.
I was pretty shocked to finally see some new amiibos at my local Wal-Mart though - Luigi & Zelda from Wave 2 and Bowser and a lone Toon Link from Wave 3!

In good news, my Mega Man & Sonic from TRU shipped today! :)
I've got Ike, Dedede, & Meta Knight pre-ordered at Best Buy so hopefully they'll ship sometime next week.

Honestly it's hard to keep up at this pace. OT #3 and already it's huge. Marth, Villager, and Rosalina are the 3 I'm missing and from the looks of it are the hardest to find. I really hope Nintendo makes more :|

Sorry you've had a hard time finding them. I'm hoping they do too for a lot of people. I would suggest to keep looking abroad if them not being US doesn't bother you. You might get lucky that way.

Rosalina Smash will likely transition to Rosalina Mario Series.
 
What did I miss today? Did TRU have Ike and Mega out today?

Gamestop told me that Ike and Triple D were delayed to the 21st to join Mega and Sanic. I'm not really in a huge hurry for them, but eh...

Probably moreso than any of them is Little Mac, so if you have him already, I wouldn't worry too much about the others, especially considering Marth will return. Even if you don't get him at the relaunch, the added stock will hopefully mess with scalper prices and cause him to lower in price overall.

Also, I bet you could trade for Villager and Rosalina here. I've already seen people asking, so give it a shot.

I don't mind what the packaging says. I intend to open them once I have room for a nice display. Not really interested in the DLC aspect with the offerings so far. They will look good next to my Disney Infinity collection.
 
Quick question: when are we up for a new OT? We're getting pretty up there in posts, but what's the exact number? I forget.

If we're close, we should start thinking about names. Though, goddamn, the one for this one is freakin' priceless. Not sure what could possibly top it.

I'm happy to see people try!
