Got my order confirmation for my Lucario pre-order and picked up Bowser while I was out, hooray! The only one I don't have pre-ordered for wave 3 is Rosalina, but I'll go check out my Target tomorrow. If anything, I'd be happy to buy one off of you guys if anyone happens to snag a couple.

Nope. Say Target stores on average receive the same number of Rosalinas and Bowsers. Rosalina will still be way more hard to get solely because she is only at Target in comparison to Bowser who is everywhere. That and we don't know how well she will be restocked. Although, I do think we can say with certainty that she is the easiest store exclusive to nab.

I was just at Target in Longmont, CO (if you are close) and they had bunch of them.
If you're using the site's checker, it's not accurate.
I called my store, and they've still got a number, but the site says otherwise.

Went to Target at 8:00 AM and filmed it hoping it would be hectic like Black Friday, but everyone was calm and nice. One Rosalina per person. They had a ton apparently, but no Sheiks.

It would suprise me if ZSS has a horrible stand coming out of her arse. She has a similar pose to Link so I don't see that one being ruined by a stand.
Trading is good social byproduct of the Amiibo community. It also doesn't inflate the value like scalper stockpiling, it instead takes them out of that market and makes sure it goes to people who really want them.
trading is completely fair, you're giving somebody something that they want in exchange for something you want, scalping is buying something you know people really want and inflating the price at everyone else's expense, trying to compare the two is pathetic

Got my Shulk and Dedede on Friday, and waiting on my Bowser to arrive on Monday! With wave 3 still being a bitch to find in Canada, I think I'm doing pretty well. Bummed I missed out on Toad preorders though
No not yet. Though we are supposedly getting Amiibos for every character in Smash so chances are good she's coming in a later wave.

Sorry new to this whole thing, when I was at Toys R Us I saw a Wii Fit Trainer and picked it up and opened it. Honestly I just really wanted WFT, but I don't know do you think I done F'd up by opening it? xD
There is no guarantee that is the case though. More than likely it will be a scalper and that doesn't help GAF'ers out. More than a few people here will be willing to sell at cost+shipping too. Canada GAF may also have a hard time because Target Canada shut down and won't be receiving any and the Rosalina's will be dispersed across different retailers.

I don't see the difference to the normal person who isn't part of a trading group. Your still stockpiling them to benefit yourself, just like scalpers trying to make a profit.

It also takes them out of the market of people in the stores who actually want them. Not everyone out there is a scalper, but that's what a lot of people act like!
Plus, if someone isn't able to trade their Rosalina for Little Mac, do you think they are going to sell it to someone here for cost + shipping? Probably not. You think they'll trade it for a common figure that they don't have? Probably not. Will they give it away? Doubtful. They'll either take it back or put it on eBay.

Is Rosalina available in store too?
Trading groups will likely have higher success because they have others to share info and trade with. Finding a good home doesn't mean every home can have one. The only way to do that is to increase shipments.

I got an order in before unexpectedly finding one in a small Target in the middle of nowhere (at 2.5 hours after opening WTF) by chance. If it comes in and you still haven't found one you can have it at cost.

I think they actually did come out to be 20. Pretty much everyone bought 2 except my cousin (who actually forgot his wallet at home even though I arrived at his house 5 minutes after he told me he was ready and then ended up not even being sure what he wanted lol. He did end up picking the last Rosalina and Toon Link using money I loaned him).
Shiek was really the odd one at that Target. I mean one Shiek? Really? So weird...

Of the detailed humanoids, Pit and Little Mac look really sharp. But whoever was in charge of the production mold and paint design for Marth and Ike, wow. Nevermind not matching the prototypes; they're so far off Nintendo's character model sheets, I'm amazed they were approved.
