So? People can choose what they prioritize space for or what they think looks good. A figure is not a game case.

I'm actively getting rid of any physical game I own that I can buy digitally because I hate having shelves full of games. Not the same as losing the game entirely of course.
 
Damn people are camping for shulk? I should probably line up outside target on shiek day, and if I *was* not planning on buying shulk but if I find myself with the chance I may pick him up

Well he wasn't making it up, he's not the type of guy and we talk a lot in a GAF Skype group chat. I'll ask him again to clarify when he's online, but Shulk from Gamestop is out in the wild. The eBay auctions and stories are backing this up.
 
Ugh, i'm finally starting to give in and look at buying import/second-hand sellers for amiibos. I only need the trinity now, and i worry that the longer i wait, the better then chance they go up in price.

I don't trust the Marth re-print to be large enough.

I'd imagine the vast majority of Shulk on eBay at the moment are from the Nintendo World Store which was selling him last week.
 
I just wanted to echo the sentiments of another post I read; I got my Bowser on Friday and he is glorious. IMO the most well built and best looking of the Amiibo, at least, of those I have.

That sucks, and they've never had issues calling for preorders before. I even got one for Bowser the other day and I've paid shulk and dedede in full. I'll be pissed if they don't call me when it comes in.
 
Hey everyone. Finally got home from work and a Super Bowl party I was invited to (not into football, and my fiancé only marginally as much, so I was pr-etty bored, but still glad to hang out with friends). Long day, after waking up at 7am to go to Target, then going straight to work. Got my hands on 2 extra Rosalinas and a free Yoshi, as I mentioned earlier when I snuck a reply in at work. Sooo many pages since, and I'm hoping most of you made out well, yes? Rosalinas for all, I bet! I hope anyone who's willing to help me get one of the set of 7 Mega Man amiibos I seek when it releases (or, if you currently have a foreign one) might be willing to trade Rosalina for it, which was pretty much a big reason I got these extras.

Speaking of which, question: is Mega Man out in some parts of the world already? I coulda sworn I breifly saw a pic of someone's haul from today with that amiibo in shot, so I'm curious.

Yea it was the guy in front of me. I only showed up for one Rosalina but I was tempted to get two considering the hell it took to get out of my driveway this morning but I only wanted one. Happy hunting. Maybe we will run into one another on the road.
 
Glad I got my Shulk pre-order paid off at Gamestop.

Internationally yes but not in the States. Iknow Gamestop is getting Mega Man on the 20th

All of Wave 3 has been out in Australia since last Thursday. I posted a pic about 3-4 pages ago with the full wave.

I still don't understand why the US has to deal with this exclusive rubbish. One of the few times I'm happy to be in Aus as an avid gamer.

I got Sonic. It's in the bottom right next to Megaman. His paint job is good, particularly his shoes are quite impressive. One of the better Amiibos for this Wave:

Ok, I'm new to this thread. I pre-ordered Ike from gamestop dotcom back in December for store pick-up. After reading this thread I'm getting the impression that the store will not call me when it's ready and that I might be too late. Accurate?
 
Wait Mega Man is out in Australia?? Holy crap, nice! Okay, so look, for you guys over there who don't already know, I'm currently on the hunt for 7 Mega Man amiibos, because this is my goal:

I intend to get these amiibos sent out on commission to be repainted into each color palette, which represent different Robot Master weapons. I really could use some help making this a reality, since I doubt I'll be able to just waltz into a store and buy 7 at launch (though how amazing would that be??)

Anyways, if anyone around there would be interested in exchanging for retail + shipping or doing a trade, please let me know through PM or reply, because I really want to make this happen. I've already heard back from a couple people here so far, and I'll have eyes out around here, but if you're interested in what I have to trade, I'd love to have 'em even sooner! Thanks in advance if you can help! The results will be amazing, just you wait and see. Can't wait to post them on here!

Nice I was gonna paint mine into the second last one, looks like Iron Man colours but not sure yet because I don't like to paint rare ones. I'm not good enough so I'd be sad if I ruined a rare.

I have been getting text msgs from Gamestop when they get my pre-orders in.

I hear ya, and that's why I'm gonna take out a commission. I've looked into pricing, and it's very reasonable for Mega Man. See, he's considered "Low Detail", due to his mostly primary colors across most of the body, like Villager or Pikachu. Thanks to that, I'm positive I can get all 7 done for a good price. You should consider that route too.

Ah man, I wish. Right now, I have 1x Yoshi, 1x Fox, and 2x Rosalina, if any of those are up your alley. Might have an extra Meta Knight later this month, too.

I got me a Sanic, Meganman, Elsa and Friend, and Cartoon Zelda.

I still have to pick up Captain Falcon and maybe a King Dedede.

Btw, my brother got me a Japanese Dedede, and oh man, it's just great. Weighty, well designed, and it compliments Kirby perfectly. You should definitely get it.

Yeah, but let's be real, how long until then? Not even a sliver of a chance it's anytime in the next 2-3 years. Probably 5+. We'll all be livin' Blade Runner by then!
 
Hey Blue, I say wait till Megaman is out in the USA before getting us to send to you, it can be pricey to send stuff these days and Megaman was pretty common here :)
 
Playing catch-up with this thread, but I open electronics at Target tomorrow so I'll find out what I can about our stock situation. Ike, DeDeDe, Sonic, and megaman are still set for the planagram last I checked so us not getting them would be surprising.
