For me anything on top of Pit, Dark Pit, and Shulk are just a bonus. Though I have Shiek and Toon Link pre-ordered.

Surprisingly, despite the weather being terrible lately, the only bad thing in that regard today was how gat dang COLD it was out there. Hoo man, it was like being locked in a walk-in freezer (not a fun experience. Trust me). The whole thing was a blast, can't wait to do this again.

Hey amiibros, I'm happy to confirm that FYE is taking pre-orders on all of the Super Smash Bros Wave 4 and Super Mario series amiibo!!
I pre-ordered one of each figure from Wave 4 and only had to put $5 down on each one (I already pre-ordered the Super Mario series on Amazon or else I would've locked those down as well).
Also, the cashier that I spoke with was nice enough to let me take home a copy of their pre-order listing sheet which I've scanned in and uploaded on amiibros.com.
You can print/save the full-size image off my site, but here's a preview for reference:
If you print out the document and bring it to your local FYE, they should be able to process your pre-orders using the provided SKUs (I've circled the Wave 4 SKUs for easy reference).

Yeah, I realize this'll be tough to pull off, since it's not like I can just walk into a store on release day and buy 7, so that's why I'm hoping I can get help here from various people who'd be willing to pitch in a Mega Man each. With a group like this, I have a good feeling I might be able to make this happen, I'm sure of it! So, if you could even get your hands on just one extra, I'd gladly appreciate your help, if you would. And yes, as I said before, the pics will be GLORIOUS.
It is, and with the exception of Ness, I'm going to go and order any future Amiibo through digital means. I feel it isn't worth it to bounce from various retailers, just so I can find a specific figurine that I want for display purposes.

Yeah, it was a great crowd. It just felt like everyone was happy to be there, you could tell the momemt you walked in. And hey, thanks, like I said last night, feeling very welcomed here. You all are a great group, and I'm glad to finally be a part of it.
I'll be getting to mine about an hour early too. There's 4 Targets all within 10-15 mins of each other here and I'm hoping the one I'm going to, which usually has no one at it, will be a safer bet despite having only 12 Rosalumas. They also open at 7am instead of 8am like the others so hopefully that's also a bit of a cushion.
Well I don't have any specially rare one...
Just the regular ones with Pit, Little Mac, Captain Falcon, Shulk. I do have Villager, Fit Trainer, Lucario and Fox on the way from amazon.de though
Amazon shipped my DDD, Ike, Toon link and Shiek order so I'll be staying warm and cozy!

How about this? Hair is cleaned up, sparkles aren't as compressed on right one. They are a little bigger though.
The right side look's a bit off... I'll keep Neo Dark's version for now Mono, thanks for helping me though!

Ooooh man, I just realized this: the Target near me is opening at 8am, and I have to be at work at 9am, which works out perfectly because I can go, (hopefully) somehow pick up more than one, and head over to work just in time. I'd be very happy to help grab extra Rosalinas for anyone who might be willing to help me with my 7 Mega Man alt colors project. No guarantees, but I'd be able to be there first thing in the morning, so there's a good chance I'll be able to grab it, at the very least one. I'll report back here with my findings.

Oh don't say that. You did a great job. I only did it because he asked earlier. Thought you were busy so went ahead with it. Didn't mean to steal your job. Personally I think you did a better job at the top part of the hair than I did. I kept using yours as a reference to get a similar effect. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if you're actually better at Photoshop than me. I'm most self taught so I just pick up things as I go.

There's a Target down the street from my job that I'm going to after work. I should be able to get there at 750ish, hopefully there's not that many people there. If things look ok, I'll get in, get a Rosie, then stop at the one closer to my house. If limits are placed and I can get to the other one by 845 there may still be some to spare, but I'm not expecting that to happen.
I am going with a friend an hour early at 7, but we are going to grab some coffee from Starbucks before hand! I wasn't able to grab a Lucario since I had work Friday so I sure ain't missing Rosalina!

Future Shop has confirmed on Twitter that they will have preorders online. Amazon Canada already did.
EB and others will be getting it too.
What makes me angry about the TRU fiasco is that, if I had been there 30 minutes earlier, I´ll have been the first in the line and got one of those 2 lucarios.
I really don´t know how early I should be to get rosalina, but I sure as hell be there early early early.

There are absolutely no Targets here in Puerto Rico, so I had to import from japan. Pretty upsetting since that's the one I wanted the most of wave 3.
I hope if they do have more exclusives in the futures that they don't go for target especially with the whole Canada thing

I just got another message about Rosalina. Some stores are going to have a limit on them, one per person. I think it was mentioned before. I was also told that they were directed to not put them on the shelf but I don't know if that is happening everywhere.

You know, I pondered about why it's so difficult to place a pre-order for amiibos. I had to wonder: Are they really SO popular they can't hold pre-orders for at least a day? I looked at how the Toad amiibo sold out on Best Buy Canada and wondered "it's probably just people that like Nintendo. They won't buy every amiibo but want all the characters instead."
I feel like the secondary runs of characters in their own series have a better chance of being obtained. Probably because everyone wants to get the character they want ASAP so they don't have to think about it again. But it'd be nice if these characters had a better chance. For example (maybe a poor one but who knows): Bandai with Gunpla: Gundam plastic models.
The Try Burning Gundam is priced at 1944 yen. It was announced back in late December and put up for preorder not long after. It's still up on amiami and comes out in late February. I think Nintendo should do something similar to Bandai and get their own manufacturing plant together for this. The demand is definitely there and while they seem to put out enough in some places, maybe it isn't enough to be desired. Of course it could also just be a huge waste because maybe the material is there and it's just a matter of not being able to reach us?

It's all Nintendo's fault. They are causing artificial demands by under-supplying on purpose. And they are loving it. Results are great for them. Only thing is, NA consumers are getting shit on with a terrible customer experience.
