The store gets the +1, no one in particular does. But the cancel will be taken out of whoever cancels it. And if it isn't the manager that takes the -1 then the manager will chew you out if you aren't at positive by the end of the day.


I especially love when bad managers won't cancel the bogus in store pick ups on items and make associates do it with each one counting as a negative and then chewing them out because they couldn't make up ten to 15 cancels

I know this is pages back but you work at GameStop as well, correct? My store doesn't run like this at all. I've had the same manager for over 3 years and if people want to cancel, than its no big deal. Happens all the time and she never "chews you out" at all. Same with Pro card renewals and such. Most of the time I don't even ask anyone if they want to pre-order anything anymore and she's right there beside me, doing the same as me. If someone shows interest in a game I ask if they want to reserve it but thats really as far as I go with that lol

Sucks that you probably get in trouble for not hitting good numbers. My boss doesn't really mind and she never gets in trouble as a manager for store performance.

Thinking of just importing Mega Man and Sonic from Aus now. Then I'll have my Wave 3 complete.

lol my Fiance is all "we are going to wake up at 6am, we have to get extras for GAF"...

We have 3 near me. Might hit up each one and get 6 total if even possible.

I wouldn't panic. NoA is just doing really shitty with supply for even the basic Wave 3 units. The scattered release dates is crazy. But there is no way Mega Man and Sonic will be THAT rare. I'm sure they will get more supply in the back half of Feb and Early March (since the first half of Feb was fuckin pitiful with them not even being able to come close to filling 50% of the basic Amiibo orders - Toon Link, Shiek, Bowser etc.

I'm just being impatient and kind of just want to get Mega Man and Sonic over with. They are the only 2 I'm missing at this point (I imported everything else and have them now). Just waiting on my Shulk to ship from Play Asia. But by Monday I'll have all of Wave 3 in my display except Mega Man, Sonic and Shulk.
 
About an inch of snow on the ground here. My street looks clear though. It's really fine and powdery. It isn't supposed to get really bad here until the afternoon. Alarm is set for early so hopefully the weather holds out. With the Lucario email, Rosalina is the last of Wave 3 I could really miss out on.

I kick myself too because I was going to try and get an extra Shulk for situations like this and I didn't. =/

Not sure tbh. Mightyape (New Zealand) are all I can think of that might ship internationally. All they have left are Bowser and Rosalina atm though.

Ebay has some for $25-30.

Bleh. Do I just pay $50 and get this over with? Wave 3 would be 100% done. I don't want to pay scalpers though. But these are third party sellers on Amazon. Does that count? Importing on Amazon directly or Play Asia is $25 usually after international shipping and import fees.

I'm having the exact same issue. He's the one amiibo I want most, the reason I bought one of these damned things. He is also the only one I couldn't manage to pre-order and now I'm trying my best to find one.

Hello everyone!

I just received an email that my Sheik, Bowser & Toon Link order from TRU is now being shipped.

For context, this order was cancelled, then reinstated in that GIANT debacle.

Looks like the orders are actually going through, but I'll wait until they're physically in my hand...

I wouldn't worry too much about Mega Man and Sonic tbh. They had a decent amount of stock here, almost as much as Bowser, Rosalina etc. They were much easier to find than Ike, Shulk, Sheik, Lucario, Dedede and Meta Knight.

I checked the mobile Target website and it days no stock for 50+ miles.

Can't check mobile app because I need iOS 7 for some reason and I have a iPod Touch 4.

Weeell....just have to hope they have her in stock tomorrow. This may be the first Amiibo I really want that I miss out on. May the odds be ever in your favor amiipals.

Sonic is still in stock at EB too. Sheik was in stock until the very end I think too, Lucario stayed up for quite a while. Ike and Shulk sold out first, followed by Dedede and Meta Knight. And all of Wave Four still available on EB and Mighty Ape haven't even put them up yet. Still really tempted to order a few more Lucina and Robin.

I think people are worried about them eventually getting these in stock randomly Mid-feb and then stores having like 8 per store. Because it's really that fuckin bad here in North America. Nintendo loves lubing us up and bending us over. That artificial creation of demand they are doing is a beautiful thing (for nintendo), but fuckin shitty for us. But fuck the consumers right!

For Wave 4, I'm 100% just importing all of them from Germany and other places. I'm done with NoA amiibo stuff.

It's basically the same here in terms of stock levels. I went to a local store 18 minutes after it opened and they were already all out of Shulk, Ike, Meta, Dedede and Sheik (which are thankfully the 5 I'd preordered online, and they should all arrive early next week) and I got the very last Lucario.

And unlike the US we seem to get no restocks. Wave 2 sold out instantly as well, but no stores have even got stuff like Luigi and Zelda back in even once.

I'm just thankful we have solid release dates so I can pick them all up the day of release, though I've preordered all the wave 4 and Super Mario ones I want online so I can avoid hunting in person ever again haha.

On the NZ EB? Here on the AU side they've only got Bowser left of wave 3 and all of wave 4 is pre-sold out.

I think the order they pre-sold out on AU was Ike and Shulk, then Dedede, then Mega Man and Sonic, then Meta, then Sheik, then Lucario, then Toon Link, and then Bowser and Rosalina lasted almost all the way to launch.

Then for wave 4 it went Lucina, then Robin, then everyone else went all at once afaik.

Good luck. I think our region is on a different system from a lot of the nation.. The target employee who was helping posters by printing out on-hands said he was having a problem with some regions, and there were a lot of people asking about our metroplex (I think 4 of the 10 requests). He was able to show a number of regions, but I suspect we were one of the ones not working.

Plus, two target employees at my nearest store today said they had zero on-hands of Rosalina or Sheik, going by their computer. And still now, an hour past midnight, Target's mobile app still says they are "not yet available" and brickseek shows "0."

All that said, I'm going to wake up at 7:30, and see if they checked these guys into the system and put them on the floor. If they haven't, I'm going back to bed.

Yeah NZ EB. They're the best, I think the $10 deposit per amiibo scares away scalpers whereas Mighty Ape just gets drained super fast. I've been watching trends in both countries, NZ follows Australia only slower.

Either way, guy is stupid for making a post about it. I guess as long as he didn't post anything that could identify himself. But I wouldn't bring attention at all to it.
 
Excellent! My small town Target is showing Rosie as being in stock and as of right now no one is waiting in line for them. Also my Lucario is being processed and I should receive it this week sometime. Assuming tomorrow goes well, and Metaknight comes out of the shadows barring no complications, I've got wave 3 pretty much in the bag.

Really depends on his specific store, and the kind of managers he has working (or how the store is ran). I will say, the guy is pretty dumb risking his job over an amiibo. Like...really? lol

But it makes you wonder, if he has a lax store to begin with that he wouldn't mind doing that. So maybe it's just one of those stores where they don't really give a fuck. The guy paid for it, so. Would be a while different thing if he straight up stole it.

Not sure how close they would check that though. I guess in the end, it's just ONE Rosalina. But it does make you wonder that people will risk a job for an Amiibo hah. Oh no. I'm not the kind of person that makes a post before reading or at least skimming the article first. Though I have fallen for a few fake articles before.. but it was just like 1 or 2. And I suppose it'd be a bit too much trouble for them. The guy should have checked out all the stock and quit his job the next day! LIVE ON THE AMIIBO CURRENCY! Lol

That's what I'm thinking. He really should have gone for them all though. At least you'll make it on the news! You'll be even more legendary than that guy that ordered 100 Rosalina amiibos (still not believing it until I see him actually get that shipment.
