Even though I think everyone who was first in line got what they wanted, I still can't believe that kid sprinted through the store to beat us to electronics. The worst part is that his dad was with him (kid was probably 14) and had no problem with it.

What are you teaching your kid? "Sure son, I know you really want that thing, so go ahead and forget people who waited longer than you, as long as you are happy!"

Had the same thing with a 11 or 12 year old kid and his mom. I just figured it was a kid being a kid and the mom not having a single clue why she was there or that the rest of us grown men could possibly be there for the same thing her young child wanted.

It's understandable, IMO, and everyone in line got what they came for.

Just hit up the Target in Hollywood with success. Got there about 15 minutes before open. There was a line of maybe 20-25 people. Everyone was really chill and civil. Line walked inside all orderly, stood in line at electronics. I was near the back, got a Rosalina and a Toon Link. All they had out were those and Bowser.

Anyway, really positive experience and great start to my Superbowl Sunday.

So okay, when is Mega Man in stores? Is he supposed to be already? Is he already sold out?

Woo. Ordered a rosalina for my coworker and a bowser for me. :3 Lucario shipped last night, Amazon says I'll get Shiek in ... March? Now I just need Ike, D3, C Falcon, and Pit. I doubt I'll get those last 4 unless they do reprints.

So I got there at 7:35 AM and they have 16 Rosalinas, but two per customer...I was #9. D:

Luckily not everyone bought two so I got one! OH YEAH!

I had enough money for two so after buying Rosalina I went back (after locking Rosalina in the car lol at taking her around) to see if they had Yoshi...and they had one left! :O They also had Toon Link who I want but I already got him paid off on amazon so I'll hold amazon to it. Yoshi was the bigger priority of the two.

With Toon Link i now have everyone that I 100% wanted to get upto Wave 3!!!

For March, I'll try and get some secondary Amiibos that I want before Wave 4 begins which include: Mega Man, Any Kirby amiibo (Want Meta Knight but will probably have to settle for DeDeDe or Kirby), Shulk, Ike, and Smash Mario depending on whats available to me in March.

For now, I am glad to have everyone upto Wave 3 (Toon Link pending) that I 100% wanted. So happy right now!

Pretty sure it will. Seems like Target was well stocked for Rosalina. Unlike TRU with Lucario. Maybe Rosalina ends up being a common amiibo?

My store had 30 or maybe more. Only 5 in line total.

Edit: Nvm seems many stores got odd allocation for Rosalina. But she's still been easier to get so far than Lucario on launch.

I do, but all of my personal bank stuff is mostly tied up in something else. Like, technically I could order it off mine but it would be mildly irresponsible haha. Given that it seems like most people were able to get them in-store today combined with this I'm just hoping she's relatively available. Worse case I stick to my original plan of just having to pay an extra $15 or so and import her which is annoying but not the end of the world.

News from the frontlines:

Got to Target at about 7:30, 3 people waiting in line so I joined in. People trickled in slowly and we ended up with about 10 people. We all chatted and shared experiences, and it was really friendly. When the store opened we all walked (a little tensely, but we walked) to the electronic section and stayed in our line. But when we got there there wasn't any employee to be found. We actually had to call the store and ask them to send someone to the electronic section. The employees had no idea that they were releasing today. Anyways they went and got their stock, and they had 30+ Rosalina, 30+ Bowser, 2 Toon Link and ZERO Sheik. Everyone was there for Rosalina though, so it didn't seem anyone was too put out. They limited it to 2 per customer. Toon Link was gone after the first 2 people, but everyone got Rosalina. I picked up a second for a friend. It was a really positive experience!
