Okay, what the hell. This is the 3rd time I tried, but my credit card keeps getting rejected on Nippon-Yassan. At the end of the order, I enter all the info EXACTLY as it is on my card, and I keep getting a Payment Rejected screen. Gonna call the credit card company to get to the bottom of this.

This sucks, wanted to order them before I went to sleep, but ah well. Hopefully I'll get it sorted out soon enough.

Since you need 7 and are doing a project, I think it's totally worth it to just pre order them all even if you are paying a little more. At least you have them secured and don't need to worry anymore.

And yep, my thoughts exactly on the prices. The cost of sending them out after receiving them to be commissioned for recoloring shouldn't be too bad either, I figure. We'll see how that goes, but for nowy priority is just ordering them.

It feels so weird to own a figurine of Shulk, back when I played Xenoblade a few years ago I imagined it would be a cult game that would never receive any recognition by Nintendo, and now here I am with a Shulk in my hands.

Also I noticed it has (C) MONOLITH SOFT printed on the base, had a look at some of the other characters and the Kirby, Fire Emblem and Pokemon ones have similar, and third party characters of course. Dunno why but I just find it to be a neat trivia kind of thing lol.

It's ever so slightly bent. Doesn't really bother me, especially with him sitting right next to Link and Marth who both have bent swords

Pikachu still has the base. The Link Amiibo is just the box.

I'm more interested in how you went about removing the NFC chip. Were you able to do it without damaging the base?

I pryed it open with a small screwdriver. A but of wiggling and shifting it around and it came off. The base is in good shape and looks just like a regular Amiibo(just without the NFC chip.

I think he's still rare because becoming less rare due to stock. At least in EU he feels a bit easier to get ahold off but that's by no means an easy task.

He was second only to Pit as my most anticipated amiibo and I think he looks GREAT.

Toon Link and Ness are very close thirds for me.

Thanks for the confirmation about that memo. I'm thinking it's probably unlikely that any of the other store exclusives will be getting any restocks of their own exclusives assuming they get the same amount Target got for Rosalina.

Minus exclusives I have received all of my Amiibos through in store pickup at Best Buy. That 20% off with GCU was too much to pass up. I will admit I heard some horror stories that made me nervous but they haven't let me down. Pit came in 3 days later than expected but that seemed to be common among BB. It seems employees grabbing them for themselves is the risk but the people at mine are really nice and remember me when I come in. I just wish they released them at the same time as TRU did.

Well, you've been pretty reliable so hearing you confirm it... Then um... That kind of sucks. Maybe Rosalina having that April 1st release date could be her super Mario line version? Thanks for the info though

Hmm, now I kind of wonder if maybe why Amazon's listings for the Mario Party Amiibos were taken down was for a similar reason that Target's not going to carry the rest of wave 3, because they're not getting enough supplied to them by Nintendo to cover their orders in a timely fashion.

Yesterday, I had called a local Target and was told there was 12 Rosa's left, so an hour later I show up, and they were all GONE.

I called another, and they only had 3 left, so I FLEW there in record time, and managed to snag two(one for me, one for sister).

The 2nd Target said they had a 2 per customer limit, and originally had 42 Rosa's. The first Target had no limit, and an employee told me people were buying 5-10 per person.
