Saturday my wife and I were registering at toys r us for our twins and the worker there remembered me coming in a couple of days ago for lucario and told me they may get more in. My wife was laughing she thought it was cute and how we knew each other on a first name basis lol
 
Bowser is really hefty and detailed well. Kirby and Pikachu also came out great, of the human types I think Falcon would have been the best if wasn't for the crotch rod.

Just called my Gamestop and found out I'm literally the only Shulk pre-order they got; it's a small town but I'm still surprised. So he said there'd be no problem filling it, should be in sometime in the next week. He didn't think they'd get any extra sadly; just one for my pre-order.
 
Just got confirmed shipping for Rosalina from Target! WHOO!
Now I just need Gamestop to call and let me know my Shulk is in, wait for Best Buy to send all my Wave 3 Amiibo's + Meta Knight, and ToysRus to NOT cancel my order for Lucario.
 
Now just waiting on my Sheik to ship. Bowser's already on his way... I'm still thirsty for more, but I think I'm gonna hold back a bit.

I have all my pre-orders minus Meta Knight at Gamestop.
Bowser, Toon Link, Sonic, Ike, Mega Man, Dedede...

I'm happy I have them locked in. But it's hard waiting for all of my precious Wave 3 D:
 
I got my TRU.com Lucario shipping notification and my in-store pickup Shulk pre-order on Gamestop.com (which I paid off in-store last week) is showing 'closed', which I assume means it's on its way to my local store.

As long as BB comes through with my Meta Knight/Wave 3B pre-orders, I'm golden! :D

Stopping in to ask if there is some estimate (release date?) on Amazon.com pre-orders?

I've had Sheik and Toon Link pre-orders for fooooooooooooooooooooorever.

Yeah, mine just shipped too. So if the one I ordered from Amazon.fr ever shows up now I'll have two.

One that note is there anyone that preordered from Amazon France and not got theirs yet? Mine are several days overdue now with no tracking and needless to say I'm getting worried.

They attempted to charge on my CC (an hour after it expired -_-) on the 1st so they must at least be getting ready to process them.

Dedede is really quite heavy as well, but pretty short. The paint job on mine leaves a bit to be desired, but overall I like him quite a bit.

Haha, technically Canada. I would have had it on Friday, but shipping was screwed up.
 
My confusing Toys R Us story:

- I ordered a Lucario from Toys R Us that got cancelled with all the rest.
- Then I ordered one from their eBay store when that went up.
- Then I ordered one when they went back up on the online store.
- Then my original order got reinstated.

So I had three lucarios coming (theoretically).

My eBay order says shipping 12/30 and I honestly don't even know what year they're talking about.

**** NEWS FLASH **** Holy shit, I just got a shipping notification from eBay on my phone as I was typing that. For real.

But this morning I got an email from Toys R Us that order no. xxxxxxxx48 was delayed. Then a few hours later I got a shipping notification that xxxxxxxx48 was sent.

I still don't know what's happening with my order# xxxxxxxx72.

I swear, I'n not a scalper. I'm as honest an Amiibro as they come - solid as stone [fistbump], I just did all this to get one Lucario Amiibo.

Holy shit, Nintendo. You win.

Mine is closed, and I paid in full. I panicked thinking it was cancelled, but I think that just means it's in that particular stores system now. I actually ordered ALL the none exclusive Wave 3s as well and they all say closed, so clearly some wheels have started turning on these.

Do you have it for delivery?
 
I've never had a problem when I preordered from GS.com picked up in store. I was able to pay off the game at my leisure anytime I wanted. Sometimes I never put money down, and was able to get the game with no problems. Case in point: I did an online order for store pick up with the Fire Emblem Awakening game. Now for those of you that remember, that game had a ton of supply issues when it first came out (no surprise since it's Nintendo). I was able to go get my game when it first came out, and the preorder bonus art book, with no money on the game prior.

That said, after someone implored us to put money down for our amiibos to be safe, I did so. I am not playing around when it comes to me and my amiibos! :P
 
Girlfriend got an email stating that Rosalina shipped (yay!) and Lucario was delayed (boo!). I honest to god don't know which is going to be harder to find so I guess I'll take it.
 
Ah shit! Toys R Us just sent a email confirming Lucario was shipped! And just a hour ago Target did for Rosalina!

OH SHIT IT'S HAPPENING. I'm actually going to get everyone! *Well.. Gamestop needs to still confirm my Shulk came in....*

Well, I don't think that means we can get it "now", but that it's in the process of getting to the stores. I haven't received any pick up confirmations for any characters besides Bowser yet, sadly. Hopefully soon though.
 
I really hope the guy that came in my store this morning is not a gafer/amiibro. We had a couple Rosalina that people had on hold from before the release left over.

Since they didn't pick it up on the first we could sell them, however it is still 1 per person. I give him one to buy but it isn't good enough for him as he wants to buy another. He acts like he has more shopping to do but ends up getting the leader on duty instead to complain. While he was doing this, another couple came in and bought the other one that was on hold and it sold with him standing there.

He complains to the manager about stuff being held for people(which was given the Ok by another manager) and how he wants to buy two. Manager talks to me and I explain the situation and he apologizes to the guy and the guy is upset and gets on the phone. I'm sorry we are not able to sell this guy two but how he acted was incredibly ridiculous.

Side note: couple that bought the other one was really happy they were able to get it.
 
It's so ridiculous, I went to my Target yesterday and I asked whether they have any of the new amiibos in stock. He assumed I wanted a Rosalina, which I don't, so I was hoping he'd be all like "GOOD NEWS BRO!" Instead he said that they had 2 Rosalinas and then pointed behind him and there was a fucking army of Bowsers. Which is great and all, but I found him already at an FYE yesterday and it seems like he's everywhere.

I just want Toon Link :(

And a pipe dream is Ike :(

Yo don't advertise having a Toon Link on Sunday's Paper and then not even stock it :(
 
So what's it looking like in the wild today? Yesterday was supposedly the street date, so anything come of it?

Thinking about stopping by Target and Gamestop over lunch. Not sure if I have a real chance of finding anything.

Pretty strong choice of words for generalizing the people posting here, probably because you haven't even read the thread. Buying one or two for personal collection is reasonable. Buying more than two is pretty much frowned upon here, unless it's to give away or to sell at cost to other members here because they missed out on the opportunity. This is what most of us are buying multples for here. Most of that actually post here anyways.

We "bitch" about scalpers because they try to buy the entire stock from a store giving zero f's about the people behind them. They will then sell these figures at however much they can sell them for, even if it's $100+ they don't give one F.

I was given the chance to buy two Rosies at target yesterday but I said I would only do so if the people waiting behind me already got their chance. I ended up with only 1 and was happier to see everyone else walk away happy than to get 2 and see one person not get one.

I use USPS first class with free tracking via PayPal multi order shipping. Ship in a small box with bubble wrap or light weight paper filler for padding. Should be 10 to 13 oz after. Total cost will be $3 to $4 for the shipping label alone (not counting supplies of course).
