Kind of a bummer coming home to Metaknight unavailable and my mail sent amiibo's still not here after a whole week. D:
The female custom one was insane. They even made the box look like it was original. I'm wondering how much time it took to do that. And if they would make it again for order (without the box).

I'm somewhat salty about that 3AM posting for the preorder of Rosalina. I was worried about my amazon order so I was seeing if I could make an order there but the dream might be dead. Come through amazon!
Still job searching, because it's been 2 weeks since I was called to work. Current circumstances have me expecting the axe.
But I received my package of Gundam kits from amiami. So I'm pumped to build those. Just need paint and thinner among other things.

I have like 5 different packages I have to send out, so I was waiting on the last Amiibo to ship in today, which it did. You don't live that far from me, so I do think it should it get there pretty fast.
To that, I hope they do a free downloadable game where Amiibos are crucial. That or do it Skylanders style as a paid game with pack-in Amiibos. I really want to do more with these things right now.

You nailed it. I wouldn't have chosen this guy if I didn't think he was very good at this, and clearly he is. Look at the texture on gold Mario's overalls, it looks like it was made to be gold! Like I said before, this guy seems legit, and I'm looking forward to the results.Do you know anyone else that does a better job and who takes commissions? He's trying to do a major project where he's going to have all the Mega Man's with their different outfit colors. He already pre-ordered all 7 or whatever.
So he pretty much needs someone that is really good at this, since he'll be paying a lot for the project. Looking at golden mario now...

Hmm, if I have some money left over after my return comes and goes, maybe I should get me a Light Suit Samus. Or should I go Dark Samus? Maybe just buy a second Samus and get both.

Seems like he used spray paint on that one. The rest of them look clumpy. Especially fox and pit. Can't tell on DK as much because of his fur texture.
I wanna see something in terms of Disney Infinity, that'd be a lot of fun if they do it right.
I have a Captain Falcon (unopened) and Fox (unopened) amiibo I am willing to trade for a Rosalina and Lucario. Just a straight up even trade if anyone is willing. Many Amiibo repainters do not use enough thin layers of paint, instead they glob it on. Repaints take a lot of time and patience to accurately perform. Here's an example of a repainted Amiibo with 0 glob.

Any gaffers in Michigan live anywhere near Midland or Mount Pleasant? Midland still has 3 Rosalina in stock and Mt. P still has 1 according to Brick Seek. Way too far out for me to drive just to get shot down again like this morning.
Well that's certainly depressing. I guess that means I'm not getting Sheik???

He explained his process when I was discussing a time frame with him. He paints in layers, lets them dry in between each coating, then it's sealed with a topcoat, which stops paint rub 'n such.
Still not too sure what you mean about clumpiness, man. Not trying to get at you for your opinion, I just genuinely don't see it.
I can check tomorrow morning before class on the Mt. P one.

Hey man, my friend is actually the one who got the NES Open Mario done, and he had an excellent experience with the dude, and was more then pleased with the result when he got it. He is a legit dude.
Yeah, I'm going to send them an ask after I finish with my raid to see if the sculpt would be simple enough since I think it says they do simple sculpting.
You gotta do something, either good or bad and have the mods feel as though it's worthy of a custom tag. Me, I counted 560+ swears & 280+ bleeps in Black Lagoon, a 24-episode anime that was airing on Toonami that was notable for how much swearing was in it, as there's a community for the block & a mod participates with us when we group watch the shows.

Link isn't rare, but if you like Toon Link better, he also unlocks the spinner. If you don't want the toy at all, then no, the spinner isn't worth 14 bucks i don't think. However, if you are seriously into Hyrule Warriors, you can also use the amiibo once a day to unlock a good, high level weapon that you can either use, get good skills from, or sell for cash once the update hits

Well, i bit the bullet on a Marth from a US seller. Its a Japanese figure, which is fine for opening, but it means i don't have to worry about international shipping, and not fret over trying to jump on the re-print. Feels good.

Wow, haha, I had no idea it was that kinda thing! I thought it was just an option I overlooked. Well then, good job on your custom tag. Hope I can get one someday, possibly a Mega Man themed one, like "Get Equipped with Metal-Blade!!" or "Weapon Get!"

I can't imagine those would be hard/expensive commissions to take out, since they're mostly single colors and less detailed. I'd like to see 'em both, if you actually do it. You have to put purple Kirby next to Meta Knight for maximum effect!
