Wow. But yeah apparently you had to search Rosalina amiibo or go to the amiibo section and refresh there to find her. Searching only Rosalina will not return that result for some odd reason.

I'm actually shocked this isn't a standard for all stores. Or that Nintendo can't like stipulate conditions for retailers? I guess it might not work that way. The other side to it is that, retailers don't want to get stuck with stock and not sell them all. So they don't care who buys the stock as long as they sell it.

But you would think with exclusives specifically they would make 1 per customer standard. Or that they would adjust and do 1 per customer for all amiibos knowing the demand is there and all stock will sell.

thank god I got Lucario and Meta Knight pre-ordered and your right this should be standard cause I would be P I S S E D if someone purchased them all before I could buy fucking ONE.

One per customer - that's it.

I still say it would have sold out faster if it wasn't for that Rosalina search. I find it hilarious Rosalina won't return the amiibo but will return that one crappy DVD

Funny how they think shortly after midnight means almost an hour after midnight.

All I'm worried about now is Best Buy with Meta Knight then I should be all set with Wave 3. I think they'll pull through (I hope).

Seems like such a basic thing. Then again, we know Nintendo is artificially creating demand by under-supplying. So maybe no one cares. :(

An hour means shortly? Alright even after getting her I'm salty. Gonna go sleep it off.

But man, at nearly 4AM EST / 1 AM PST? In just a few minutes too. Come on Nintendo, you're missing out here. Get out of your old ways. Set up a manufacturing facility in the US and you'd be set.

At least it was 1 per customer. I remember a member here showed off putting 100+ Toads in his cart (obviously didn't go through with it). Hilarious.

I pray that Best Buy will ship mine without any issues. I know the rest are pre-ordered at my store, and I check in most boxes that come in, so I won't have to worry about anyone else selling them.
 
Oh oh, got an email from Paypal that I sent a money order to FS but no confimation email from FS directly. Oh well, will deal with it in the morning.

I braved the snow and crowd on Sunday and got mine, so now I'm not worried at all. I just want it to arrive so I can stop checking my porch multiple times a day. Glad you got yours though.

I ordered Meta Knight from JP. Didn't even want to deal with BB having horror stories. I was surprised that Target actually stepped up to the plate and had decent stock. But damn. Meta Knight and Shulk aren't as popular as Rosie. Especially since she's a Mario character. So I think it should be expected that Nintendo won't do a lot of supply for them. I almost expect Meta Knight and Shulk to be pre-orders only and no extras. So if you don't have pre orders you are SOL. Think Lucario bad, but worse since he's a popular Pokemon character and still was almost pre-orders only.

So I just skipped that BS and ordered Meta Knight and Dedede from JP and got them 3 days later at my house. No stress, no hassle. Then again I'm also taking them out of the box and putting them on display. I do get some only want NA only. But if you don't have pre orders, Meta and Shulk will be really really fuckin tough.

I'm just waiting impatiently for my Shulk NA model to ship from Play Asia and for someone (any region) to sell Sonic and Mega Man. But yeah, id say most might want to start importing Meta, Ike, Dedede and Sheik -- as I imagine stock for these will be abysmal. Sheik is already sold out, and Toon Link is following.
 
Question to those who keep their Amiibo sealed - do you ever intend on selling your collection? If not, why do you keep them sealed?

I also want to say the tweet never went out as to their availability for pre-order. I bet they expected to be able to tweet the next morning as to "come on in and pre-order!"

Don't lowball your expectations FS/BB. You've been playing this game for a while now.

I open them as well so I don't care where I get from, but I'll always try NA first. If Best Buy fucks me then I'll import for sure.
 
Any good sites outside of North America to order Lucario? My Amazon.co.uk order still hasn't shipped and if I can grab one somewhere else for a reasonable price, I'll just cancel it.

Do people even like those characters? Rosalina is a fairly popular character so I can understand.

Shulk was avaliable for weeks and I'm sure the one per customer rule will apply from here on out
