I hadn't added F.Y.E. because it's kind of a limited chain. Same with Frye's. If people really want them on there, though, I guess I could add them to the list.

It was a nice surprise. Yes. lol Hopefully this means that Amiibos are becoming a bit less rare.
The Toys R' Us I just walked out of had a ton of Sheik. The clerk said he had Sonic in the back but they couldn't sell it until the 13th. The other clerk next to him was just giggling. I said Amazon and other retailers were already shipping it out but I got some speech about a $10,000 fine if they sell theirs. Ended up not buying anything.

Just did the Amazon UK order for Lucario myself, 20 USD shipped.
I say do it if you don't care about the packaging , IMO i think the European packaging is superior.The fact that its separated by series and numbers makes it great for a uniform collection however U.S. packaged amiibos always seems to be worth more in the long run just depends which one you prefer.
Meta Knight will probably be just as bad. So will Ike and Dedede, honestly...

Good idea. I went with 2 Lucario and 2 Ike. Came to $18 each. $4 premium is well worth not having to deal with US amiibo application process.

Probably gonna line up for mega on the 13th. Even though I work at TRU we aren't allowed to hold these at least in my store. One person is currently being investigated for doing that and might be getting fired.
Plus it's fair these things are stupid rare so why make it even harder for people? I already get a discount and the advantage of knowing for sure when its going to be in so meh

on the subject of the port situation, its not hard to believe.
a good number of target stores are running two to four weeks behind on setting planograms, when the product does come its already being marked down or salvaged.
softlines/clothing reset was so light until our last shipment that it looked like we were going out of business. the same can still be said for home decor and toys, product has been light since november.

So do you use them much at all? I use them in 8-Player smash all the time and I can't imagine me taking them out of that case every day :lol
I do plan to go to Ikea in the coming months once my collection grows and get something similar as yours though.

Can you describe this setup? (I recognize some of the bits as ikea but not all of them). Did you spray paint/stencil/etc the logos?

Just picked up Toon Link today and he looks great.
I almost have everyone I wanted. Waiting on Game & Watch, Zero Suit Samus, and whenever Nintendo decides to do a reprint of Little Mac.

IF those are grundtal lights in the bottom (and I"m pretty sure they are). I'd actually consider getting rid of them, halogen is not good for figure paint.

My paltry Amiibo collection, as Toon Link arrived from Amazon today. I just realized that I've inadvertantly started a green theme in my unopened Amiibos. Huh.
Thinking about picking up Bowser because even though I didn't initially want him, I really like how his Amiibo turned out. Still waiting on my Mega Man, Ike, and DeDeDe preorders. The likelihood of me finding Sheik in the wild is probably slim now. Oh well. Back to waiting for wave 4 preorders to go up so I can get Ness.
