So it looks like the Meta Knight amiibo FINALLY has a release date: February 20th ONLY AT BEST BUY in the US.

Still taken with a grain of salt of course but this is the only confirmation we have right now.

Good news to hear, though I kinda figured something like that would happen when Nintendo announced they were going to be making more Marth Amiibos in the Nintendo direct.

I actually just bought my first two amiibos on Amazon the other day (Kirby and Samus) and I'm looking forward to getting them.

I was thinking about buying amiibos back when they were first released but didn't get them right away and the whole scalper/rarity thing really turned me off. Hopefully Nintendo will make enough of all the amiibos for everyone.

If you can get any of the "rares" for anywhere under $30 atm, I'd say to definitely go for it. Right now we're going on the assumption of there never being reprints; and for only $7 more than normal price, you really can't go wrong.

How much do you value your time? A minimum wage, if you spend just one hour searching for Lucario, either by reading Gaf, or physically driving to Toys R Us's, it would be cheaper to just import for $21.
