When I told the dude that I had a preorder for Shulk, he ran over and grabbed four from a display and said, "Thanks for mentioning that, I should probably check and see if these all were preordered." Just got my Toon Link and Sheik and I dunno if its just me but Sheik is the worst looking one (next to Marth) in terms of quality. Discolored hands, mouthwrap and headwrap, and the blues they used along with the texture on her torso just looks weird.

But despite not caring for Toon Link as an actual character, he looks great

I casually walked into TRU on launch day and picked up my wave 1 preorders. Only grabbed an extra Marth for a friend. Don't think I'll ever have that luxury ever again now that most amiibo are online/import/eBay exclusives.

I have them somewhat lined up on top of my dresser for now. They certainly deserved better so I'm hoping I can pick up a proper display for them soon.

Pikachu and Kirby are in my closet still in their prison, gonna free them later when I bring Shulk and Sheik home. That just leaves Marth, Villager and Little Mac that I'm missing.

I stupidly, stupidly cancelled them because for some reason i felt like I was going to skip amiibos

but I started to learn more about what you could do with them (aka NOT limited ONLY to smash) and about some of the upcoming characters that I thought would be too obscure to merit their own amiibo (like shulk) and started to get excited about them

I managed to get a marth by importing it at MSRP (luckily) but still no villager or wft T__T not willing to pay those prices
