They were available for preorder for at least a few days originally. Plus some were sold for about 15 mins today.

I can also confirm Shulk's at my Gamestop were poorly packaged. Bent card corner on one of mine and the other had the plastic coming off the card.
Neither. I got into Amiibo hunting a week or 2 after xmas.. missed pre-order.. then was working all day today and missed the ordering when he went up.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, the Mario series Amiibos are up for Pre-order at Best Buy! I am so glad that I didn't freak out that they all disappeared when they went up the first time.

Yeah, I got lucky with mine as I was just about to head out & an employee asked me if I needed anything, just said I was doing my regular amiibo check. He asked who I was looking for, then went behind the counter & it turned out they didn't even open the box of the new shipment, so I was able to get the first ones.
I also got Mega Man, but since I'm sure I'll snag him at GameStop when I get Sonic, I'm sending him to a friend in Canada.
Some of us got lucky & managed to place an order online during the quick time window.

I'm in the same boat. I don't care about Lucario, but really want MetaKnight and DeDeDe. I missed out on the preorder for MK, so I'm really hoping Best Buy has a few available to order.

He prides himself on buying up amiibo away from other people but I guess it hasn't dawned on him that for the characters that he hates, yet buys copious amounts of just to troll everyone else, all that money is STILL going to Nintendo. Did you compare the swords before opening one? I'm not sure if the sword should be bending in slightly or out slightly.

Guess who I found at my local Fry's store. I had a gut feeling and I found these two guys.
I was looking for Sonic but this will do. Gonna open these bad boys up since I do have them pre-ordered. If you're in Houston, I got these at the Fry's by I-45, I left one Megaman there and that was all they had for Wave 3.

Bad photo but when I went to a smaller EB Games today I noticed they still had some in stock about 2 weeks from wave 3 launch. Yes it's a very pitiful selection.
Rosalina, Mega Man, Toon Link were still available.
Also managed to pick this up a couple days before it was due to be released.

The Shulk thirst is real, someone even offered me 100 bucks to ship to Guadalajara (I sold them for around a 5 buck commission, sometimes more if its specially hard to get, but not scalpers prices)

Mines were poor as well but not crazy bad. Thankfully I picked up 3 since my brother had pre orders and I chose the best looking one to keep

All the people getting Shulks is making me ultra jealous.
It's one thing not really caring about Amiibos till 2015 and missing out on the preorder.
It's a whole different feel when you have it in your grasps and still miss it. I was at checkout today when it came online and but logging in brought up and old saved cart, so it disappeared while unloading the cart.
I wouldn't have felt this bad if I had just missed it altogether while I was sleeping or something.
Anyway, this discouragement is telling me to just call it quits on Amiibos and enjoy the Zelda Amiibos I ended up with. I have zero exclusives so far.
And of course, I would really appreciate if someone is willing to part with an extra Shulk they might have gotten.

Woo! GameStop shipped my Toon Link and Shiek. Now I continue to wait for NewEgg to ship Sonic and Mega Man.
Preordered in store. It looks like he will be just about impossible to get. My store had zero extras of him, sheik, or toon link.

Got my Shulk today! I hate amiibos, everytime I try to pull away I end up coming back with cancelled preorders and Regret.
Friday morning as soon as the store opens. I'll be at my store 2 hours before they open.
