So has Mega Man been released in enough stores that it should even start to show up for a bit more online (like Dedede, Pit, Sheik.)? If it has prime on amazon and is less than about 30$ I don't mind getting it for my son but so far its all really odd sellers with no prime and long ass delivery dates.

The only major store it was released on the shelves at in the US has been TRU. Target's had it sporadically on their website, but it goes up and down so quick, you kind of have to be in that 10 minute window it's available.. It's supposed to hit other retailers, like GameStop and Best Buy, this Friday. Doubt you'll see it on the shelves there unless you're around when they stock them, but you'll see them more online at Amazon and eBay which could bring aftermarket prices down a little. Good luck, hope you're able to secure one. It's a really nice looking piece.

Bah, Shulk is STILL at the same place (which is 2 hours away from me) since Friday. Guess it'll be correct in the fact it says it'll arrive Wednesday.
All that's left is to hear about Sonic coming in, get him & hopefully Mega Man as well, then see if Meta Knight will be available online, then I'm done until Wave 4 & can focus on getting my budget back to normal while preparing to possibly afford a New 3DS XL in April.

I was going to stand in line on Friday to try to get King DeDeDe and Meta Knight since I don't trust Best Buy to ship mine properly, but I'm tired of waiting in line for stuff. Plus I would have to take an early lunch break from work just to be there at opening. Not worth it.

but he wants to know the best, most reputable site to order from. He's kinda paranoid about orders from sites that aren't Amazon or ebay, as he doesn't want to get screwed over with cancellations, delayed shipments, etc.
What would be the best place to order one of these for him? I've never ordered any stuff like this, but I know a number of you are planning to get this, so I told him I'd ask.

I got mine at TRU on Friday, but he has some kinda blemish on the right cheek, so I still haven't opened it.
You all probably know how crazy I am about Mega Man, so that slight imperfection really bothers me. Wish I knew how to remove it.
Not to mention, I usually always open the packages with no issue, but man, the box for this is so amazing with the Mega Man artwork, so I'm hesitating. I'm so turn.
I pre-ordered her from BigBadToyStore.com. They're a pretty good site and offer quick shipping for pretty cheap.

BigBadToyStore is good. I've ordered from them before for things that were sold out on AmiAmi and HobbySearch (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng). The only thing is, you're essentially paying an import fee when ordering from BBTS since they're domestic, bringing the figure over from Japan, and marking it up to account for those costs.
Looking at the BBTS price, Lucina is $75 at a minimum with saver shipping. On AmiAmi, she'll be less than $60 at the current exchange rate with the fastest shipping.
They both pack exceptionally well. Most big figure distributors do.

I'm intentionally double posting because I wanted to elaborate on the blemishes on my unopened Mega Man amiibo's face. You're all gonna think I'm crazy, but look:
It may be hard to see in a picture, but I zoomed as much as possible to try and highlight the areas. How would one clear that up? Or, am I going to have to exchange it? I'm not even trying to be OCD about it, but when it comes to Mega Man, I guess it seems that I am. I noticed it right at the register, but I didn't have any other choice, so I grabbed it, being the last one, but the blemishes are bothering me.

I'm pretty sure there are fewer macs in the amiibo economy than marth and villager.
I've actually seen marth and villager on the shelf in stores, day one when I was dumb. Then after that, I saw them available online for ages, and available for import after that.
Little mac, I've never seen in store save for the preorders visible in a Gamestop on a shelf behind the counter. I only have one because I am on the internet too much and got lucky during the short window of tine somebody had them in stock. Even countries besides America seem to struggle with finding him.
Thanks for the feedback about the rarity chart guys, I may put Villager back to the top soon, I won't update the chart until the release of the rest of Wave 3B and a week of trades and second hand purchases been done, so look forward to it.

Well, doesn't look like I'll be getting the MM 3DS XL (wonder if I should switch back to Sad Sack Majora avatar). I guess I'm just really hoping for a LE Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS now. I've never played the game but it looks pretty epic and I'm digging the art style.

I bought Xenoblade when it first came out on Wii, but never got around to playing it, so the 3DS re-release might be right up my alley. I don't know why I never bothered to start it, but Smash definitely reinvigorated my interest in getting to it, with a very particular, well-known song really sealing the deal for me:

It's the perfect embodiment of two of my favorite video game franchises, Zelda and Little Big Planet. So Namagem, when you see SackMajora associate it with me, just as I associate Mega Man with you ;]
I've considered buying from amiami in the past, as they have great prices and so many people vouch for them, but their no cancellation policy and the inability to see shipping costs when ordering have deterred me.
I'm not sure how quickly amiami ships, or even if that's a factor here, but my BBTS order of Lucina came to $76 and change, and that was with Fedex 3-5 day delivery. I figure the extra $15 or so is a worthwhile premium for the speedy shipping. Though again, I'm not quite sure of amiami's shipping rates and speeds.

The fastest AmiAmi can ship anything is via EMS, which usually takes less than a week. EMS is more expensive and charges based on weight, but figmas really aren't that heavy. You'd probably be looking at around $10 EMS at most, erring on the side of caution. If you're willing to wait, you can go SAL, which would be around $5.
Current exchanges rates for Lucina places her at $44. Factor in the conversion fee of either Paypal or a credit card company, would be maybe 3-5%, so $46. Then the $10 shipping for EMS, which puts it at $56.
BBTS is good for figures that are out of stock at the other retailers, but you're always going to pay a premium for pre-orders, especially when compared to AmiAmi.

Yep, they don't charge until it ships. I don't even think they require payment info until it's ready. I'm not sure though, since I use Paypal on AmiAmi.
Once your figure is available, they'll weigh it, size it, then send you a shipping estimate via e-mail. You just log in, choose your shipping option and enter your payment info to confirm. You can change the shipping method from what you originally chose when placing the order, so don't worry.
Even in the worst case scenario of 2,000 yen for EMS and if the exchange rate changed out of your favor (pretty unlikely), you'd still be saving money over $76. I chose Registered SAL for a figma package a while back that ended up costing $6, for some perspective since they'd be similarly sized.
