Once your figure is available, they'll weigh it, size it, then send you a shipping estimate via e-mail. You just log in, choose your shipping option and enter your payment info to confirm. You can change the shipping method from what you originally chose when placing the order, so don't worry.

Even in the worst case scenario of 2,000 yen for EMS and if the exchange rate changed out of your favor (pretty unlikely), you'd still be saving money over $76. I chose Registered SAL for a figma package a while back that ended up costing $6, for some perspective since they'd be similarly sized.

EDIT: Having just made an order, I am super surprised how easy it was to place a pre-order on amiami. I went with paypal and like you said, they don't even require any sort of payment info until the order is invoiced. Super cool. I might even go ahead and use amiami to try and import some amiibos!
 
It's getting real now! Walmart just sent me shipping notification for Ike and DDD!

Btw, today is the day that OT3 is set to end, regardless of 20k posts or not, as Jawmuncher recently mentioned when I brought up naming OT4.

My Ike's still delayed from GameStop, so I feel like I'm on the verge. I don't wish it on anyone, so it sucks to hear from others.

My hopeful thought about Ike is that stores didn't even get it, so maybe when that happens this week, online orders will ship too.

I think it's probably this, although some US people did receive their Ike from Gamestop, so who knows.

Just got back from TRU and they had just got in 8 Lucarios, as well as 4 of Fox, which are the first I've seen in months. Otherwise, it looked like they got pretty wiped from the 3 for $33 sale they had going last week.

Shulk is definitely one of the best-looking amiibos. The only thing that bothers me about my Shulk is the crack going down the middle of the back of his head, but since I'd mostly be displaying or looking at him from the front, I'm okay with it. (But I hope the second Shulk I have pre-ordered will look better.)

just days ago i got mine from amazon for only 12.99... i'd wait for the time being. there are many stores getting sonic on 2/20, you could even walk into a retail location, assuming you get there early enough, and score one for retail

meanwhile I'm wondering If I can accomplish this same task on Meta Knight. Outside of Villager and WFT he is the ONLY pre-Wave 4 amiibo I don't have locked down. I'm not sure how to go about getting him. I think I will wait and hope bestbuy.com restocks.

Definitely too soon to tell, imo. The only major US retailer that's sold Sonic yet is TRU. Once other retailers are selling the rest of wave 3, I think Sonic won't be too hard to find. Dedede and Ike, on the other hand...

Hoping for a miracle on Friday. Some tall bastard bought the last Amiibos when I went to TRU on Friday. Then I saw him again at a GameStop that same day buying the last new 3ds. Before that I saw him at another GameStop weeks prior asking about amiibos. This guy.... He is my eternal arch nemesis now. If I see him at best buy I will rage! Lol

Went with my buddy on a couple amiibo deals today. We got on CL and loomed for some deals. He has doubles of a bunch because of preorder paranoia. Which is well founded and why he needed to make deals since he got hosed out of Shulk and Rosalina. He was able to trade an EU Marth for a Rosalina US. He was able to get a US Shulk for a US Lucario. That's cool everyone was happy and got something they needed. I was happy we met a gamestop employee that was real cool and is going to text me the moment Wave 4 preorders go up. That's what I an nervous about most that I miss it and they are gone in minutes ha

Peach, DK, Yoshi, and Link are now all sold out on amazon.

RIP in peace commons. Makes since with sales and everything since they all have replacements (SM line, and Toon Link, only DK's replacement is still aways away) maybe not sold out forever but if anyone wants them yall ahould try and find them.

Btw: Does anyone that preordered Mega Man from amazon still hasn't started preparing to ship? Because if everyone is atleast in the preparing to ship stage then it surely means that they will sell them soon...maybe...
I have $13 amazon credit and it must be spent.

I hate to be this guy, but "RIP in peace" is saying "Rest in Peace in peace." Just RIP will do.

And yeah, I have a feeling the Smash amiibo will be replaced by the Mario line.
