We already know we're in for more amiibos whenever Smash Switch hits, and I could see a whole player 2 line so they can resell a lot of the same amiibo in new cotumes and poses.
Transluscent plastic with green paint on it.
I both hope and don't hope that "Player 2" becomes a series for alternate skins.
Maybe like this custom someone made waaaaay back.
.....also, watch as for Kirby's 25th anniversary, they make a new line of Kirby amiibo based on different abilities.........& THEN A COLLABORATION WITH THE SMASH LINE FOR KIRBY WITH MARIO'S HAT, KIRBY WITH LINK'S CAP....

Playing Bye-Bye BoxBoy, it mentions the amiibo when you select the option to scan them, but considering the Direct didn't mention the amiibo, nor the bundle that has all 3 games on a cartridge & a music CD, I'm guessing no.
MH Stories, maybe. It wasn't mentioned, but maybe wait closer to the game's release for info.

These will be the first amiibo I get from Best Buy, so I can't help unfortunately. I'll be going with in-store pick-up just because I don't trust anyone to ship anything unless it's like how Palutena was with the higher-ups directly telling people they would package them carefully.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. From my personal experience, I'd say aim for in store pick-up or something if you want to keep them in box, because with shipping the boxes ending up in less than ideal condition is a definite possibility. (I take them all out right away, so I've had no personal issues just getting everything shipped. But I've had times where they just weren't packaged that great and there was some definite bending of the cardboard).

God, I hate how annoying Amazon is with pre-order stuff. It takes forever for them to become available even after the listing and images come up. I'm always on edge making sure to constantly refresh the page so I don't miss out.

Yeah, I jumped in on the "3 for $20" deal Toys R Us was having and I was surprised at how many standard-priced amiibo were available that you'd have to pay a bit more for on Amazon and usually aren't available anywhere else.
Lotsa of gaffers have posted pics of their Best Buy shipments in the previous Amiibo threads. Some were ridiculous how they were bent and shoved into their shipping boxes. I got a bunch of orders from them and only once did I get a messed up Amiibo.
As someone else said pickup from store if possible. I did that with Lucas and all was well.

Wait, really? Everything I hear about it is that they don't charge until shipment. Unless you pay with Paypal.

They still do a temporary charge to see if you have the money unlike say Amazon
They charged ASAP for Smash 4, Bayonetta 2, & would have done so for the Switch. It's why I had to pre-order my Switch at GameStop.
