Anyone have suggestions for games worth buying? I want more and the ones I already bought are either uninstalled or have bad controls. (Like Metal SLug, I love the series but that touch control, blech, almost not worth buying for those.)

did you ignore my post?

I expected you to ask: anyone have any recommendations for games that's as awesome as Royal Revolt?

Neuroshima Hex is all kinds of awesome. I've been playing the quick game in short bursts. Each game lasts for 5-10 minutes max, which makes it the perfect time killer.

But I'm yet to win a game. I have this distinct impression that the AI cheats :p there have been many occasions where all my tiles are perfectly positioned to bombard the AI HQ. Then out of nowhere the AI produces a tile that allows it to move the HQ. And all that planning and careful positioning goes to vein. I lost so many games by just one point.

Just installed Asura Cross and played the arcade mode for around 10 minutes. It seems like a decent and quite competent fighting game considering the lack of face buttons and all. My only complain so far is that button mashing seems to be a quite effective tactic. I'll try the story mode next/

^ Background stuff occasionally stutters on my Note II as well, not really a big deal.

Biggest issue is the change button is too damn small for me. It's tiny.

If you don't play with auto-fire on the android version then I also take my hat off to you.

I had to map the change button to single-tap. Works out nicely. It takes some getting used to playing on the touch screen and doesn't work out as well as Dodonpachi, but I love Ikaruga, so...

Do you guys plan to continue development on it?

Well, I don't have anything in particular planned. I'd like to add a new weapon or try to hunt some of the bugs that people reported (although they're not remotely game breaking or anything, it would still be nice). Extra levels also comes to mind.

I have my own project I'm working on entirely unrelated to this one though, so that's probably where most of my attention will go for now.

Kairosoft new game Dream House Days is out.

im quite LTTP here, but after the talk about Temple Run 2 i finally decided to download the first Temple Run game. i skipped it in the first place because it didnt look very interesting and the screenshots werent doing it any favors.

i was wrong. this game is fantastic. screenshots do not do it justice because it looks a lot better in motion. the swipe and tilt controls work very well and are very clever. the game is also a hell of a lot of fun!

great game. will check out the second one when i wear this one out.

I hate the whole temple/ruin motif and, so, for months I ignored the hype on TR1. When I finally played it it was a revelation.

Try Subway surfers too!

Hmm not as good as dungeon village.

I didn't like DV too much, felt a little too grind-y.

DHD runs like shit on my N7 though, even on low. Slows down when there's in game notification. I don't know how much of that is due to the in game ads.

Agent Dash is pretty decent as well and has one of the better implemented systems for achieving score multipliers (if you ignore the ones linked to facebook).

I've had no issues on my Nexus whist running it on medium, not sure what's going on there then!

I've got an Xbox with tons of games I haven't played and don't care much to, but this damned giant demon monkey is tearing me apart!

I don't know what it is about endless runners. You'd think that if you got tired of one you'd be toured of them all, but nope.

Beach buggy blitz does support ps3 controllers, too. Just a head's up.

I think I actually prefer the new Pitfall game over Temple Run 2. It feels more polished and has a better visual presentation. Not that TR2 is bad by any stretch, it just feels underwhelming.

I think Agent Dash is worth checking out if only for the visuals. By far the nicest looking free game I've seen on the android market.

Anyone else use the SGS3? I wanted to get a new SD card for it (16 gigs fill up quickly when I add my ripped CDs of music to it...) but I'm hearing SGS3 phones pretty much "kill" SD cards. :( Now I'm scared...

They don't play nice with large size xfat from when i had a Sandisk SDXC 64gb. After a while it corrupted, There was an app on xda that formatted it to fat32 and never had an issue afterwards.

Could not be possibly less interested in the new Kairosoft game - I played Game Dev Story to death, tried every one since and none really clicked until Beastie Bay which got dull fairly quickly.

The only one, GDS aside, that really got it's hooks in me was Dungeon Village - a FAR better setting than any of their other games and it was just crazily addictive, I levelled up my town to the highest level, got in the best adventurers etc and then just sat there and thought, now what? What have I achieved in the many hours I've sunk into this?

Kairosoft games are VERY addictive but ultimately very unfulfilling.

I just installed Swiftkey Flow, even though I am scared that the software will break the copy/paste function of my Galaxy S3 again. As Samsung disabled the auto correction in the last update, I had no more choice but to get Swiftkey again. So just one question about it: Is it just so horribly slow on my phone? Is Swiftkey 3 faster?

Yeah, I'm the same way. Loved GDS and Dungeon Village but the rest have been meh. And they are great games with very fun progression up until a certain point where it becomes pointless. Oh well, it's the journey, not the destination.

I like Grand Prix Story and that soccer game most from Kairosoft as there's actually something going on, not just small pixel guys walking around. Dungeon Village was fun too.

There's a bunch but the one I liked best was Heroes Call

Isn't that the one that makes you wait like 10 min to identify an item or 'Buy an identify for $5!?'

.....

How horrible. Freemium and IAP can go eat shit and die.

What are the best Diablo clones right now?

Give Pocket RPG a try. It's decent.

Hmm I been looking for a decent (ideally turn based) RPG with either good loot mechanics or crafting mechanics, does anyone know of one. ?

Really? I didn't know that.

I couldn't remember exactly so I asked my buddy, he assures me it is. He even used it as a prime example in his article about how apps like these are going to lead to a quick demise in mobile gaming.

The game looks nice...but why not just charge a flat fee and stop with the shenanigans already? Damn shame.

Currently downloading Asphalt 7. Should I be expecting better or worse in comparison to NFS Most Wanted?

Edit: Way worse. Damn, was hoping for another decent racer. Refunded...
