Nice, only the US version of Mass Effect is 0,25€. It's incompatible with my European Nexus S because EA has versions for both Europe and the US. Oh well... Will have to pass on it.

I played the Flash version of Rebuild and enjoyed it. How close is the Android version to the Flash one? If they are similar I might give that one a go today.

I just picked up the HD Widgets with the $.31 I had left from my N7 promo credit. Nothing else looked that interesting, and I already had several of those (damn it! :)).

Nothing very interesting for me today. Downloaded Jetpack Joyride though, about time that got released!

How is Flick Golf?

Hm? For me this version is on sale and available for download from Sweden.

It's a lot of fun! Don't expect a "real" golf game, though. It's all about influencing the ball with finger swipes near the pin to get it in - or as close to - the cup. You get bonuses for curves, backspin, hitting the pin, etc. At first I kinda thought I made a mistake buying it, but I really ended up liking it.

Yeah, I got Flick Golf Extreme during the first Google Play sale, and it's a pretty fun "Golf" game with some interesting courses. I'm guessing vanilla Flick Golf plays like Extreme, but with normal golf courses. It should still be worth picking up if you want a good golf game.

Amazing Alex
Temple Run: Brave
Mass Effect Infiltratos
ZombieSmash
PicSay Pro

Are they worth it? Price aside, are they good?

The reviews say Temple Run Brave is really buggy so be aware.

I've only played Infiltrator so far, and it seems...fine. Just dont go into it expecting a Mass Effect game, it's all cover-based shooting. Not much exploring, no squad/party member stuff and very little dialogue/moral choice stuff from what I've seen. It's by the team that made Dead Space for iOS/Android, which is pretty apparent if you've played that.

I thought Dead Space was pretty good, but I can imagine that Mass Effect doesn't translate quite as well to the mobile format.

Imo Mass Effect Infiltrator is a terrible game. The controls are overcomplicated and worse, inaccurate as many times on-screen context sensitive actions stack on top of each other, which makes the extremely repetitive game play a chore. Such a big disappointment since DS is the best controlling TPS on touch screens.

My wife just tried Flick Golf, and got 3 hole-in-ones in a row within the first couple of shots. LOL I can't compete in this space with her. ;)

I dunno, I really don't hate it. I think it's ok. The controls certainly aren't perfect and wrestling with them led to my death on a few occasions, but they're doable once you get the hang of them. I like the "style" combo system, makes things a little more interesting. I'm also super-impressed by the graphics - it's probably the prettiest game I've played on my S3 so far.

I'm probably being a lot more forgiving than I normally would because I paid 25 cents instead of 7 dollars.

The point of my last post is that this isn't really a Mass Effect game outside of the world. It feels closer to something like Gears of War or Shadowgun, to be honest. I really wish they did some dialogue tree stuff because the "moral choices" the game gives you are just dumb.

Rayman Jungle Run is a great little game. Obviously doesn't compare to the full Rayman Origins game, but it isn't meant to. It's fun and looks fantastic on the S3.

What is the best android phone for gamers?

I'm going on a limb & say...

Probably this.

New day, new 25 cent games

Madden NFL 12
Where's my Perry?
Cut the Rope // Cut The Rope HD
Pool Break Pro
Cogs
Order & Chaos Online
Sky Safari

Is Broken Sword US exclusive ? Doesnt show up here in europe/germany...

Stopping by to say if you haven't played Space Traders and Cyber Knights, you are missing out on truly great games. I don't need to add the "android" modifier before games because they are that good. Space Traders is enough to keep me android loyal alone.

whats with everyone avoiding order & chaos online? I've asked before in this thread atleast twice if anyones tried it and noone ever replys... well now i'm gonna try it for .25 and the free 3 months... anybody else? I was on my friends ipad 2 months ago and noticed order & chaos on the idevices had its monthly fee removed, after they buy the game they play online for free now forever, but it still costs on android.

edit: is it because you are on limited data plans? *hugs verizon grandfathered unlimited plan*

It just looks like a really generic MMORPG to me, like any other MMO on Android. I've never been a fan of that genre, and specifically I don't really see the appeal of playing a game like that on a smartphone. I'd only play it if I had a group of friends who were playing it as well.
