Any chance you are referring to the pen? Says it is compatible with my international note 2 but haven't bought it yet.

No it says incompatible with my version. Though I do use a different LCD density so I guess it could be that. Sometimes that triggers weird compatibility problems in the play store.

I'd just like to + one on Cytus being pretty amazing. If you're in to rhythm games, you'll love it.

On that note, are there any other good rhythm games out there?

I hear this a lot about Cytus, and it confuses me. It's a terribly-executed music game with a nice coat of paint on it. What's so great about something that's so horribly mistimed that the game just throws perfect judgements out like candy to compensate, and only on 1/3 of its note types at that?

It's not mistimed it's just very forgiving. But honestly it kind of has to be on this kind of device (I'm playing it on my phone). You're just not going to get that much precision on a touch screen device like this cramped in to such a small space. If it was tablet only or if you were playing it on a device with a stylus they would have the screen space to make smaller bubbles (which would require more precision) without making it frustrating.

Other than that though, the songs are surprisingly good and fun to play. I'm always expecting to hate it when I hear the preview but once it gets in to it I end up having a blast.

Am I mistaken or is the time between iOS release and Android release for popular games slowly decreasing?
Nope, you are right gaming environment on Android has been getting better with every months. Android 5.0 and new hardware coming this year will push it even further.

Any good games that use that moga controller thingy?

I have Modern Combat and the soccer game that tries to make you buy shit with real money.

Not my lcd density setting, ikaruga is just incompatible with my T-Mobile note 2.

I just bought and tried it and it crashes at startup on my international version. Ah well, hopefully soon..

Edit: Risked it and bought it again in case I deleted it too early...works fine!

I see no confirmation of physical controls in that post. I'm sorry but dragging a finger around on the screen with autofire on is not how you play a shoot 'em up. :P

There is a shoot button.

There is a hold button (releases the super attack)

There is a switch between white/black ship mode.

These buttons can be placed on the side (left/right) or on the bottom.

The auto fire button which you can turn on/off, which is permanently located on the bottom of the screen.

Lastly you move the ship with your finger on the top part of the screen. :\

I hope this helps. I found the game hard to play on my phone... Hence, I said a tablet or larger screen would help it.

I was playing it on my ATT Galaxy S2.

Dude, physical controls...as in a game pad. F that touch screen BS. lol

Luckily I was able to refund Raiden Legacy in time. :)

I have a Nexus 7 and want to download Super Hexagon now and wait for an update to fix it. How would I go about purchasing it, as I only have a Nexus 7.

Please and thanks, I want this badly.

With the gaming oriented Android consoles, it's only going to get better. Google need to show off the apps a little better though.

The only way to do it is to root your device and modify your build.prop file to fool the Play store into thinking you have another device. Not worth the hassle for the couple of bucks you'll save tbh.

Well I tried that anyway, didn't work. Whatever, I suppose.

I emailed the developer requesting tablet support, I'll see what their response is (if they respond sooner, rather than later).

Any news on Bejewelled 3 ever making it to Android?

Amazon's free app of the day today is Freeze, a nice puzzler:

looks nice, but Europe seems to just get some random other app that doesn't look interesting in the slightest. Is there a way to order from the us store still, when getting the "sorry, you no US" message? Maybe can I add it on my wishlist and let it gift to me?

I guess the Amazon appstore has more stringent region checking than their PC downloads - I can buy PC titles from the website with some ginned up contact information in my 1-click settings, but the bouncer won't move the velvet rope for me on my tablet :( (and on the web page, weirdly enough)

So anyone playing Battle Cats?
mzl.zeezzkuq.jpg

Argh, what have you DONE to me? This game is ridiculous, I think I just burned a ton of time on it but I can't be too sure.

If anyone else is playing this, help me out by putting in my invite code lol

Super Hexagon is now available for the Nexus 7, according to the store page it still has the lag but people were harassing him to release it.

Loving it on my S2, though!

Woohoo! Hit that shit like it owes you money. It's that damned good,

Edit: Ouch, 10 seconds! Way rusty.

Holy shit, Cartoon Wars is an amazing free game. It's a similar game to Swords and Soldiers, and requires less tactics, but its still awesome and fast paced.
