Can you still visit friend's towns like you could in Wild World?
Also, if anyone's had experience with both 3DS and 3DS XL what's the preferred system?
You can and it's still you plus 3 visitors.
I got the 3ds at launch and never felt the love, there were loads of petty little problems with the design of it. I changed it when the XL wa launched and I've never looked back. I love it.

This has made me really happy, a lot of people would have had a very empty showcase area otherwise. Myself included!
You can order items from the shop you see in houses here right? I'm worried these changes will make the games incompatible with the Japanese version - I was hoping that my Mrs with the PAL version could get all the spotpass stuff - then come join my JP game and hand them over.
Can the japanese version interact with the PAL version?
I'm going to feel dumb if this is a "we already knew that" kind of thing, but as somebody who has been worried if Japanese QR codes for the game would work in the NA version (and QR codes being cross-region in general), I talked to Nintendo to see if I could get confirmation on if they'd work or not.
So, I talked to Nintendo, and as you can read here, they have indeed confirmed cross-region compatibility.
I didn't know it had been confirmed, thanks. I'm so pleased all the screenshots of qr codes littering my desktop can be used!I'm going to feel dumb if this is a "we already knew that" kind of thing, but as somebody who has been worried if Japanese QR codes for the game would work in the NA version (and QR codes being cross-region in general), I talked to Nintendo to see if I could get confirmation on if they'd work or not.
Hey, trying to decide what to do about this game and thought you fine folks would be able to help me out. My wife looooved Wild World (played for like 2.5 years daily). Think it's worth getting another 3DS to play two seperate towns? Or if we do local are we okay to do one mayor and have seperate homes in the town? Just not sure how local multi works in this one. Thanks!
I want this to happen now!The next thread has to be the most dudebro AC thread ever
YO BRAH I HEARD YOU GOT MAD PEACHES UP IN THIS BITCH
I'm sure we're allowed to discuss the game. Just not post any creepy sexual shit. Which is fair enough. That thread went mental.Probably shouldn't be posting in here guys. Seems awfully like tip-toeing around the mods decision, much as I'd love to discuss AC over the next few days.

It went way too far. If anybody wants to create a thread in Gaming, feel free, but I'm not sure I want to risk it. And the OT is up on Sunday.

So anyway and realistically, how many bells can you earn per day on average?

It's been ages, but I think our little buyer's club broke 800 once. 'Twas an epic day.as much as 600 bells I've heard
So the "stalk" market is this; every Sunday morning, a sow named Joan will come to your town. She will sell white turnips for varying prices, usually around 90 bells, but it fluctuates wildly, as much as 600 bells I've heard, and even more. Now, the caveat in turnips is selling them at a profitable price before they go off (which takes a week) to Tom Nook, whose prices for buying turnips will also change twice a day throughout the week (he doesn't buy on Sunday mornings). If you're lucky enough, you'll make mad dollar (or bell) through it. Also, the turnip buy price in your friends towns will all be different, so it encourages communication in order to get the best prices.
Ooooh gotcha. Interesting, I did not know how the "investment" system worked. I guess this is why we would have a big list of friends to be able to communicate prices in varying values.

Hopefully the moderators will hand out temporaries to folk that won't take heed. It's hardly fair on the people that just want to talk about the game.
Just bought Oracle of Seasons, still finishing Ocarina Master Quest off so lots to tide me over until release day.
