Oh yeah, grass wear is back. My favorite never-got-to-use-much feature from City Folk. It made the towns I saw with it look more like actual real life towns with dirt paths to the market, going to and from bridges, or to the local fishing hole. It added character. The only thing else I could wish for would be a town project you can do to reverse it, so you have more control.
Oh that reminds me, I haven't checked Swapnote in days.

Gotta love how grown man get excited for Animal Crossing (sorry girls and kids from GAF, but nothing beats that). Cannot wait to meet the freaking neighbors.

So I just decided to check my old Animal Crossing GC town and I had totally forgotten that the game was sold with a memory card (with a nice KK Slider sticker and a "special surprise inside") ! I found it inside, waiting for me. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find my save file with all these other memory cards I own. That was a nice gift from Nintendo back then !
Anyway, back to New Leaf : it seems like we can't build any community projects on the beach ? That's too bad, I would have loved to put a bench or some beach chairs (eh) on it. Oh well, at least we can still grow palm trees.

Actually, I'm not that surprised. You need something to relax and this game is really awesome for that.

This. I bought it February 2011 hoping for a Summer release. Here we are now, almost getting it!
I originally was gonna purchase 3DS when I saw this at E3 2010, but I knew it wouldn't be out in 2010.
Three years later, it's almost here.

I want to play it like a paranoid schizophrenic. Suspicious of everyone, and especially new members of town and visitors. I'll play nice, but send coded messages that when read by real people they'll be like "wtf is going on here."

I'm pretty sure it supports french and spanish. Time traveling is basically changing the 3DS' built in clock to go back in time, or forward in time to let predetermined events happen faster. The OP stated it correctly but it just wasn't very clear.

Trouble with the fruits is that its too many to list lol and that can change when people actually get their foreign fruit from elsewhere (gifts, island tours, washed up ashore). So when the game launches I'll make a HUGE post with these icons...
and talk about precious/perfect values of these fruits as well as the valuable reasons to visit other people's towns to offload these for more bells.
These icons are the initial fruits anyone should have right away. I also like to add it as an initiative for members to come back and show their dedication by equipping these to their avatars to look for people to trade with.

Photoshop CS2 is free and just as good as CS6 in my opinion! Its sort of outdated so I'm not sure how well it runs on most operating systems, but it runs on windows 7 fine.
