They were both pretty good tonight. Though I don't get how this would be a best episode ever. Best of the season so far though, as far as story. Liked getting some Quagmire, Joe, Cleveland, and Mort again. I missed the Star Wars ending though, what happened?

Edit: Oh, and the chicken fight is just a celebration of the series being back still. They're still on this kick of "give them more of the same". You can't tell me this episode tops the original Chicken fight episode, as far as the first time you seen each. I personally think South Park has been the best animated show at adapting their humor, and consistently keeping their viewers off balance.

Joe has a different voice...

Quagmire's a bit different too...that's weird.
They're the same, just rusty.

It was a spoof of the award ceremony at the end of A New Hope, complete with the music, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO!

Decent family guy... weakest of the new season so far IMO. Started out alright, but fell flat on its face for the second half.

WRONG!

I don't like how Family Guy's turning towards making everyone a recurring character. The chicken guy segment was still funny... but taking one joke and running it into the ground across multiple episodes is a big step in the wrong direction.

WRONG!!!

Shit, are you guys telling me American Dad was actually a lot better tonight? Fuck, and I decided to just stop watching after the first two episodes. Family Guy was pretty freaking great though. I laughed so hard at the muffled "Gigadys" from Quagmire while Lois was placing her toilet paper.

The recurring characters are a little bad. Like the doctor, he's starting to wear out. His first appearance or two was damn funny though. I'd say this is closer to the best episode yet though than the worst. Passion of the Christ spoof was just too late.

It was only like a second long.

No, the 2 second thing was fine. The whipping, that was funny. I just was bored with the whole Mel Gibson is a tryant with deep connections inside the church and has a clergy that follows him and blah blah blah...

Not to mention Luke Skywalker's fakey laugh at R2-D2 that I wasn't sure anyone noticed.

Definetly a really good American Dad. If they were all that funny I think the show might... well who am I kidding, FOX will cancel it.

I just hate how American Dad is so much like Family Guy. Talking Fish Instead of Baby. Alien instead of talking dog. Bleh.

At least Groening and co managed to do something completely different with Futurama.

But Futurama was bland and boring. This show is better (while it lasts)

BANDED!

If any show is bland and boring now it's the Simpsons. Futurama was infinitely better.

I thought that at first, but the differences are starting to show. The Peter/Stan Lois/Francine similarities are very strong, but so far Hayley has been more involved per episode than Meg has ever been, and is much more developed, I'd say. But Steve's scheming and plotting per episode is never nearly as humorous as Chris's blatant stupidity. I think Roger as a character is really up in the air at this point.
Claus just sucks though.

No Simpsons love? :(
I definately enjoyed the 2nd episode of the Simpsons (8:30 episode) thought I noticed that there seems to be a lot more mature-ish humor.

Homer in the confessional had me laughing so hard. Something along the lines of "I've masterbated 80 thousand times and I have no intentions of stopping. LOL.

Futurama is the rare breed of show that can be uproariously funny, yet still have genuinely touching moments.

So true. The episode where Fry's searching for the seven leaf clover, and the one where Fry's trying to bring back his dead dog were extremely well done.

I loved the Family Guy ending as well and it kinda reminded me of something I've always wondered, why didn't Chewie get a medal? I did a quick search on that and someone said because he'd just chew on it and choke himself. :lol

I think the parts with Steve and his friends would be alot funnier if they did some Peter-like flashbacks or something, the "I'm such a big loser" teen dynamic is so old.
