I don't think so, it's still the same type of data being saved. EA is notorious for not using compression, to my understanding, but still, this is great. I'm getting an HD though

Games will store more data as they will become more complex

Exactly - why else specify the size? Good observation. Be a bummer if the memory cards are being so large to compensate for a lack of ANY type of onboard memory storage though.

Sony never came out with diff. sizes. I see your point though. MS may be different.

Yeah maybe. But then again, my PS2 memory card proudly proclaims its 8MB size without ever (to my knowledge) gaving been released in any other size. In fact, I believe it's an official thing -all my PS2 manuals label it as a "memory card (8MB)(for Playstation 2 (R)).

I'm not saying that it won't be available in different sizes, but that it's possible it's just penis-size waving.

Yeah, I know what you mean! Given, this is a a discussion forum, so anything and everything will be discussed. It's just that reading through the thread and seeing every little nitpick being brought tho the light at a microscopic level. "there's something behin the eject, so it MUST be real!" "The power button is off-centre, so it MUST be fake!". Jesus, can't we just accept the design overall, and choose to like/dislike/believe/disbelieve as necessary, but why find a single pixel out of place and claim as evidence for anything?

While, I'm here, I thought I'd point out:

* the standby/power icon is sideways. This could mean the console stands on its edge.
*the eject button is different in different pictures.
*the colour is silver in some pics, but some pics it looks white.
*what is that button next to the emeory card slots?
*why does it need memory card slots?
*whats that port next to the memory card slots?
*has anyone noticed there's no microsoft logo?.
*something else that has been posted about a dozen times in this very thread.

At any rate, you both make good points, I wasn't aware of how Sony labeled their cards. Either way - 64 megs is great; wonder how much they will cost.

As for cost, shouldn't be more than 15-20 bucks. Flash drives are so cheap now that this would shouuld be a piece of cake to keep a low price on.

No, that's fine. I thought I've been pretty reasonable through all of this, so I was just surprised. I try to stay out of the fray of the fanboi wars and just comment on stuff I find interesting.
