Steve? Tony? Hank/scott? Boring?

Hey I thought Steve and Hank were pretty boring, but I'm not everybody. And I don't think everybody thinks that Carol is boring either. My point was just that it doesn't matter what you think of the comic book character, the MCU is its own thing and just because that character was written one way in the comics doesn't mean they'll be that way in the films. So that character's personality being called bland or boring doesn't really correlate to who they'll be on screen.

Bullshit. Im one of the biggest stark haters in the world, and theres a lot of things you can call the character, but boring isnt one of them.

Pym being boring is ridiculous. One of the more tragic characters in capes, so much that even daredevil has told him to keep his head up at times, and one of if the most consistently written characters. Shit that happened to him decades ago are still in play for him, when most characters have plotpoints of 3-4 years.

And steve being boring is crazy too. You dont like his ideals, thats fine. But i dont see how people can read his comics and come to the point that hes boring
Then we have different thresholds for what we call boring.

Hawkeye needs his Netflix series

I thought that was because they realized they had two black males on the same team at the same time. When they brought Deathlok back later in the season, they would have hit McDuffie's rule of three.
no, it's because Britt is a regular on Being Mary Jane.

I know I'm way late to the conversation but, on the topic of MCU She-Hulk, wasn't Eliza Dushku's name being thrown around at one point? Not that I think it's going to happen now, with Whedon out of a position of influence, and casting budgets increasing with Perlmutter's shafting.

I agree with everyone that She-Hulk works better as a TV series, and Dushku has proven she can't carry a series even with Whedon helping her out.

Am I a comic snob?
So you're accusing me of labeling people as snobs solely because they have a differing opinion...because I'm pointing out people have a differing opinion than you?

You're talking like the consensus is marvel has nothing but boring characters. You should have enough awareness to know that your opinion is in the extreme minority, so I don't know why you're trying to speak with such authority. It's fine to not like them but you don't really have much of a rebuttal when most people disagree about them being boring.

Yeah I don't think it's possible that they wouldn't get him back for the sequel, he seemed very happy working with Marvel and Hank's arc is not complete.

The real question is if he actually has enough pull to get his wife in as Janet.
