One the one hand, I don't like Chipotle for politicizing my burritos... there's no reason to go anti-GMO and by being so vocally anti-GMO they are basically being vocally anti-Science.
One the other hand, fuck Philip Morris.
On the THIRD hand, Chipotle burritos are pretty dope regardless of their ignorant GMO stance.
PM is just trying to steer the conversation toward whether or not it's healthy and start getting people to look at Chipotle like they do regular fast food burger chains "ugh it's so bad for you!" etc.
If you eat at any fast food chain multiple times a week you're not really going to give any fucks if it's healthy or not. And if you only eat fast food every now and then, you obviously don't care that it's bad and that is why you eat it seldom.
Yeah bro. The macros for a burrito bowl are awesome and you can get a shit ton of calories in a single sitting without ingesting the insane quantities of grease you get with other fast food chains.
All of y'all acting like people don't get cheese or sour cream so it's automatically low cal food
Reality is Chipotle verbally names those two when you're in line because almost everyone gets one or both so they say "cheese and sour cream?" The other stuff they just say "anything else?"

It's not calorically any higher than other fast-food places. I actually don't get why Philip Morris is throwing shade. Is there some competitive reason?
An attack from such a group of companies does nothing but assure me that Chipotle is onto something good. Philip Morris and Tyson would use a kitten to smother an infant if there was profit in it.
Chipolte is someone's lunch. Whenever I went there it was for lunch or dinner. Chances are I ate something else, so yes it's a lot to cram in all at once. McDonalds and Burger King sandwiches have less calories.
I've thought this way for many years. They're popular, yes, but I'd just rather go to an authentic Mexican restaurant that's 24/7. They have huge tortillas that taste great. I don't see their burritos are packed with so many calories. I leave off the sour cream at times and just get beans and rice as the fillers. Beans and rice should not have a lot of calories.
I don't go to Chipolte a whole lot anywhere. It's too expensive and they also don't serve Carne asada.
It's like with Subway. If I eat a foot long I won't get hungry an hour later. If I eat a six inch then I'm hungry again. Eating beans and rice can fill you up, but I need a pretty good portion of it.

I used to eat Chipotle almost every day during my final year of college back in 2009-2010. Sometimes I would eat for lunch and dinner. I am about 5' 11" and have never weighed more than 142.
So, what happens when you eat 2 double cheeseburger meals with a 42oz soda and a large fry from Wendy's twice a week and don't exercise? Huh Phillip Morris?
You won't need a triple bypass by the age of 40 if you're eating Chipotle burritos.
I just feel bad for the poor kid in the ad. He thinks he's gonna be on the cover of some muscle magazine, and they turn him in into the Chipotle Chubby.
Chipotle is my go to food for an on/off Keto diet just because I can mix and match what I want. No carbs this week? I can have a salad with meat, sour cream, guacamole and cheese.
