Anticipated Capeshit

Darkmakaimura

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
I know a lot of us are tired of it but what's your most anticipated capeshit movie that has been announced for at least the next 4 or 5 years? Can be DC, Marvel, whatever....

Mine is Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. Dat shid gonna rock.

None of them really pique my interest.

I mean, I'll probably watch em all, but nothing on the horizon seems to be the next Logan or something.

Wish War Machine would get a loud, violent, and excessively explosive movie.

i think doctor strange MOM is a low key spider-man 4

i think they're dying to work with and bring back tobey

dr. strange getting caught in spidey's web and dealing with bruce campbell's mysterio? suddenly madam web out of fucken nowhere? sign me up bitch

Young Justice Season 4 of course. The spiritual successor to Justice League, in more ways than one. This is the kind of greatness they used to show on Cartoon Network.

Tobey is my favorite Spider-man and Kirsten is my favorite MJ. I would welcome this.

The big bad I heard is supposed to be Nightmare. Kind of a Mysterio figure in that he can weave dreams with probably some Freddy Krueger thrown in.

Assuming it'll have the same creative team involved, then Spider-verse 2 easily, same with any potential spin-offs if they get talented people involved (although still sad Emma Stone never got to do a live-action Spider-Gwen film since she said an in interview she'd be up for it if they ever called her).

I think I'm just about done for a while. Maybe that will change, but as of now, even something like Guardians is not a run-to-the-theater event for me anymore. I'll wait to watch them at home and can't say I'm overly hyped.

I stopped watching them in the theatre after Logan

Never saw the two Avengers movies, just random clips on YouTube.

I just wish the next genre would hurry up and come along but until it does I will sticky with history YouTube channels as my main viewing entertainment

Yeah, but...

Joker 2 because even though I didn't like the first one a lot the character that he becomes at the last quarter of the movie is very intriguing and fun. I just wish he wasn't so passive during the biggest part of the first movie. Having said that I'm mostly done with this shitty genre, I've been done with it for years, I might watch this crap if I'm really tired and bored but I haven't spend a dime on Marvel's and most of DC's generic trash and I certainly don't watch them at the cinema, it would actually ruin my mood to go out and watch this shit.

Btw the fact that Doctor Strange changed directors tells me that the movie is going to be as generic as the rest of the Marvel crap with the "theme" of horror movies but without it being one. Disney is the master of emulating movie styles but still managing to make their movies as generic and inoffensive as possible for its brainless fanbases.

Spider-Gwen is from an alternate dimension where she got bit by the spider. Check out Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse, they explain the concept.

I forgot about that. I've actually seen Into the Spider-verse, so I know what you are talking about now.

I don't think i'll ever get tired of all these capeshit movies. I love most of this stuff.
Multiverse of Madness is my most anticipated, especially since it's basically confirmed that Sam Raimi is gonna be doing it.

But there's alot of stuff that's all really close to it though... Thor 4, Guardians 3,Eternals (hoping to see some good celestials stuff). Basically everything officially announced or casually mentioned by Kevin Feige i can't wait to see. And then there's the Disney+ shows that are probably going to be great as well. Finally some Moon Knight action!!!

And all the stuff that's coming from DC
Wonder Woman 84, Aquaman 2, The Suicide Squad (only because of James Gunn), Shazam 2, Black Adam, the Flash and everything else that's either confirmed or rumored.

Only thing i skipped was Birds of Prey. I'll catch that stuf eventually when it's on Netflix or something... Maybe.

And of course non Marvel/DC stuff like The Boys season 2 is a must see and Bloodshot looks pretty cool too.

Good times ahead!!

Ya know, I watch all the capeshit, but I never really get excited for it. Half of them are praised as the "best one yet," but they're usually just alright, if even.
Except Agents of SHIELD season 7, that show's tight, can't wait to see how it ends.
The show started off weak but it kept improving, till soon they were airing 22-episodes seasons with better pacing than many 10-episode premium shows.
Agents of SHIELD (particularly S4-5) >>>>> The rest of the MCU, the movies especially just can't compete.

I'm excited for The Batman because it's being written and directed by Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson has shown to be a good actor in more recent movie roles (The Rover, The Lighthouse). That it also won't be based on any comic has me intrigued what kind of story we will get, character motives etc.

Given the particular cast of characters in the film, there's been speculation that it will be based on 'Batman: The Long Halloween'.

Maybe, maybe not. Peter Sarsgaard isn't playing Harvey Dent and going off how the cast is listed on the wiki page it looks like The Riddler will be the main villain.
