Any resurgence stories you see happening next gen?

Curious if anyone thinks we could see some games with a resurgence nextgen? Like this gen some examples I'd probably use is Silent Hill. Those games seem to have life again after being on life support. Resident Evil was a similar story last gen with RE7 bringing the series back where it needed.

For me my hope is Splinter Cell comes back with a vengeance. It would be nice to see Mass Effect as well but I have no hope for that studio. Halo is in desperate need of one but I have zero hope that they can. Another one I'd like to see and I think the studio is capable to do it is a new Killzone. If these guys can get off the Horizon train that would be great.

I'm hopeful for Sega/Atlus to keep the ball rolling on their recent successes (Yakuza series thriving, Persona 5, Metaphor, Sonic games improving in quality, Unicorn Overlord). Seeing Konami's resurgence this gen has been something I've really enjoyed. I've been rooting for them.

I don't really feel anything for an unannounced game just because there's a popular name attached. That alone doesnt mean much to me anymore.

I've seen too many series come back in name only, with none of the heart or vision that made them special.

Id rather wait and see what the actual game looks like before getting my hopes up

Playstation.

If they can sort out their GAAS output. Or give it up altogether and focus on AA/AAA only.
I'm not a PlayStation fan (I will be picking up a PS5 Pro soon though) but I really dislike seeing them in their current state (though I understand the PS5 has been very profitable for them) and would be excited to see a shift towards what you're describing.

I'm just hoping Sony can fix their output level, their general game quality and start pushing the tech angle hard again to not just service visuals but maybe give us some rich, living, breathing worlds with new paradigms in simulation and interaction. If we just get more effective PS4 games with the dials turned up a bit further I'm probably gonna end up sitting most of the gen out again.
