I noticed my desktop today making a faint pulsing noise.

I don't know if it's always done this is and these are just normal sounds whether it be a fan humming or what have you, but today I wanted to read a bit in the peace and quiet, and I'm usually on my desktop with something else in the background. Music, TV, radio, AC, what have you. But I noticed it making this sound and I'm not sure if this is something ominous.

Hope you can hear it from that video recording of it.

Best way to find out? Just run it with the shell open and listen?

u can hold fans for a second when its on and release them, get something to block it. If the sound stops u found your bad fan.

If its a case fan, see where the cable goes disconnect, if is a cpu fan order a new one, if its a gpu fan that could be more problematic as i don't like replacing those. Probably a shitty case fan.

Could also be a cable is blocking a fan in your case. so check if nothing blocks it.
