Any trade-in deals on old (big) PS2s?

Anyone know of any stores that are offering credit for old (big) PS2s towards the purchase of one of the newer, smaller ones? I have a spare US PS2 here in America I'd like to trade in if possible. What can I get for it?

Any help would be great!

How long have these been out for? Is there any pics, side by side comparisson? I read 70% smaller...thats nice as long as it doesn't cost more than a regular one.

I got $100 in credit at EB Games when I traded mine in during October. They might have lowered the value now that they are not looking to take on inventory for the holidays.

I have a PS2 with Network Adapter--would that give me more tradein value if I seperated the PS2, the NA, and ATV Offroad Fury 2 to trade in each? :p

It's $70 just for the console in EB. But if you have five games you don't want anymore, they'll give you $125 for the system plus the games. Not a bad deal, considering how much we give on average per title....

I'm also looking for a decent deal to get a slim PS2. My bulky one doesn't read blue back discs anymore, and a lot of DVD's.

The NA would probably land you about $5-10 at Gamestop. So $80-85 total, with about a buck or so for ATV Offroad 2.

If it's defective... We check before we buy. However, you get $25-$30 for a defective unit.
