Black Myth Wukong is finally on sale

The only bad area in the game is the prison imo
The prison itself honestly would've been fine but chapter 3 is 50% of the game and beyond overstays its fucking welcome.

It could've been broken into two chapters easily. It had more bonfire checkpoints than any other chapter. It's insane…

Oh, so like Dark Souls, Elden Ring and such? That's nice because I don't want to only fight bosses and just some general smaller baddies here and there, a good balance is key.
Level starts. Enemies, multiple paths, treasures, bonfire checkpoints, hidden mini bosses, main bosses, side quests that are very obscure without guides(like souls), and main bosses.

The difference between this and dark souls:
-You can make yourself over powered fast that most bosses will die first or second try.
-You don't lose shit when you die

That's it. The world building, level design, atmosphere, etc is top shelf. It has a great way to present its story, and has plenty to upgrade and build a unique Monkey of your own.

Game is fun but don't expect souls level difficulty.

Chapter 1 & 3 seemed like the longest

Chapter 3 is the worst part of the game. It's not even up for debate. It's the size of 2-3 other chapters.

Chapter 1&4 so far have been the best. 2 is also fun and digestible.

I'm currently on 5, and enjoying it.

Those are 15-25 years old back when they hadn't figured out how to make a good camera system.

Chapter 1 is the shortest by a wide margin.

3 is the longest.

dmc: lol yeah they are old games.

How is chapter 5 longer than 1? 1 seemed naturally longer just getting use to the game and exploring. It took me the longest by far of all, even longer than 3.

Not Souls level difficulty? My friend, I see that as a huge plus!

Yep depends on what you are wanting.

I think this game would suffer from being that difficult considering how many bosses there are. Hitting that many potential brick walls would be overstaying its welcome.

As is the game has great pacing, enemy and boss variety, combat stays fresh, etc. The exception as mentioned is chapter 3. You will be begging for it to end.

  • Kit frizione – Clutch kit
  • Coperchio – Cover
  • Gruppo distribuzione – Timing belt
  • Pompa acqua – Water pump
  • Cinghia trasmissione – Drive belt / Transmission belt
  • Cuscinetto – Bearings
  • Filtro olio – Oil filter
  • Filtro aria – Air filter
  • Filtro antipolline – Cabin filter / Pollen filter
  • Olio motore 5W-40 – Engine oil 5W-40
  • Protettivo tergi – Windshield washer fluid / Wiper protector
  • Termostato – Thermostat
  • Guarnizione tenuta – Seal gasket / Sealing gasket

No tensioners for that belt?

That chapter is that bad huh? Damn. But the rest does sound good. I did hear that there are boss with multiple phases, which is something I hate, but we'll see how it goes. Are the locations great and rewarding in terms of exploration and finding cool shit/gear?

It's just a really long level, the jail part that is referred to is 3x longer than needed IMO.

Multi-phase fights do exist, mostly regulated to the bigger bosses. So roughly maybe a couple each level?

The exploration part and finding stuff is great. The main issue with that part in searching is the invisible walls.

You'll explore to find:
New spells
Items to craft gear
Items to upgrade your flasks, your stats, and more

Generally want to full explore IMO as it's all valuable. Some easy to miss stuff too.

Some bosses have multiple phases, and if you lose and come back it may sometimes start you at the second phase or the initial phase has a health reduction from the jump.

I assure you unless you're building your monkey fulll retard build, then these bosses are joke tier compared to anything in a souls games. It's style over substance. It's fun to fight generally, not a sweat fest, and then you're onto the next one,

Maybe it took you longer since it's a tutorial area, but Chapter 5 has 18 bosses compared to just 11 for chapter 1. Plus, you have more side quests and the main one where you gotta find and destroy the carts is quite a bit longer than in Chapter 1 where it's just a linear progression and you basically never have to backtrack.
