Nope. Decided to just grow it out. Going for a topknot with a Victorian style mustache!

I have to hold on for 2 more weeks when hairdresser are reopening here. Was lucky enough to get an appointment early.

But ye I'm beyond annoyed with my hair and would definitely cut it off myself if I would have to wait any longer.

You know, I’ve never paid for a haircut with my own money. I have paid to have it braided a few times but I just don’t give enough of a shit to have some sort of normal ass hair do.

But I’m not an executive type nor do I have aspirations of becoming one 😉

First thing I did when I realised what was happening was to buy 40kg of rice and 20kg of chicken. The second thing was to get clippers. #3 all over with #2 on the sides and back. Attempted a blend but didn’t quite pull it off.

Just did a #4 all over for the first time earlier this week. My normal cut at the barber is a 4 and 5 so it wasn’t much of a leap. Turned out better than I thought, though the back of my neck could still use some work; probably need to pick up a beard trimmer for that. I’m still seeing people frequently for work so I opted not to go full hermit while this thing is still going.

Yeah I did that a few years ago when I first started buzzing in the summer. It's tough to get right yourself, or even with the wife doing it. I decided a #2 all over is fine. A bit shorter than I like the first week, but worth it to do it less often than a #3 all over.

My usually paid haircut is a 2/3 blend on the sides and back and then a scissor cut on top leaving it a bit more than half an inch and blended into the #3.
