i apologize if this has already been posted, but i dont see a thread on the first page.. and the search function is taking ages.

is this an issue with the server switch, or am i just having some odd problems with my internet connection??

Not slow for me, but I fear what will happen during E3.

didn't gaf just have a domain change? due to that perhaps while all those computers learn their new shit?

I've been forced to browse by IP. I thought maybe it was my ISP, but if the DNS just changed, that would explain it.

GAF has been slow for me ever since the server switch. For the first day or so the forum was completely unreachable, which is understandable given DNS propagation time. But the slowdown couldn't be attributed to DNS problems I wouldn't think.

Ever notice that just before the server has a hicup the page view counters get a little screwy? I dunno, but I noticed one of the counters went to 1 page view (was many 100s just before) just before the server hung up.. :(

quadriplegicjon, having the same issue. Some suggestions that were made in the thread seem to have helped somewhat though. I couldn't even connect through ga-forum.com at all unless I went through a slow ass proxy. forums.gaming-age.com seems to work ok though. Thanks all. :)

Try http://209.59.175.58 . If that doesn't work and it's just being slow, just wait a while. It's all DNS propagation issues and won't last long.

Are you sure about this? I'm browsing using forums.gaming-age.com, which resolves to 209.59.175.58 immediately. But it's still very slow in loading. If I browse using the IP directly, it's normal speed. I'd suspect some kind of misconfiguration as the cause, not DNS propagation. But I guess if I give it more time, we'll see...

I get 'can not find site' message a lot, when I surf on AOL, but then it works better on IE - even though it will still do it. Does it on both my computers, so its not on my end. That's with ga-forum.com though, I'll try the other one.
