Not that I needed any more convincing that we live in a country with a very fucked up past. I was shocked to hear that many states had a three strikes law. Violate prohibition 3 times and it's life imprisonment. And later they made it even more strict. Automatic 5-10 for first offense.

The fact that the country was fucked by this so hard for 13 years is amazing.

We need another FDR.

I'm not going to post a giant thesis on the special which was 6 hours long. Piss off, you condescending douche. I want to see if anyone else saw it first.

Unfortunately, we do. It's amazing how much things are repeating themselves. They're even brewing up a Smoot-Hawley act to start a trade war with China...

But in the prohibition sense, not so much. Unless you want to vote for Ron Paul?
