When I turned on my PSP today the menu screen was red. Also how come videos look scrunched up in the middle of the screen and don't take up the whole thing?

Red? I think one of us is color blind. And I know it ain't me!

As for videos, hit triangle and change the display

April = Pink
December = Red

Press the triangle button during video playback. It'll bring up the option menu and you can adjust the screen from there.
