I saw it last night at the monthly horror movie show I go to.

I thought the movie was great until the last 15 minutes or so when the zombies actually start coming out in full force.

One of the main characters, the doctor, is probably the biggest zombie-shooting idiot I've ever seen. Minutes before the zombies come, he says something to the effect of "No Eliza, I'm a doctor. We like to reason these things." Then when the zombies come, big Mr. doctor couldn't get it though his head that a headshot was killing the zombies. He's shoot them in the chest three times, and then in the head. At one point he had a string of headshots, and then he went back to the three chest shots. BAH, I say! The theater was screaming at this guy to shoot them in the head. it was pathetic.

Other than that, I thought the film was great. Anyone else agree?

I got to see this in the theater when it was rereleased a few years ago. Being a Fulci fan, it was nice to see it unedited (unlike Seven Doors, which was pretty hacked up). There's a cool tin box set out (or out of print maybe?). They were giving away some pretty cool European posters for it when I saw it.

It's probably my favorite horror film of all time. It's definitely up there. Great flick and a lot of fun. Fulci is awesome.
