Toshiba is having a sale on them now and it seems to meet many of the requirements I have for my newest laptop:

1. 12" Screen
2. Greater than XGA screen resolution (1400x1050)
3. Tablet PC
4. reasonable upgrade prices (7200RPM 60GB HD in particular is very cheap)
5. OK battery life
6. OK weight
7. NOw is a 10% sale

Anyone own one of these badboys or a Toshiba laptop in general? How are they compared to the rest of the PC crowd (Dell, Gateway, HP, Acer, etc) and how are they compared to Apple notebooks?

I have one at my work and its a pretty nice machine. I've never used an apple notebook but the toshiba is comparible to any other notebook I've ever used.
