Yeah, I'm sure some of you have heard of these. But for those that haven't. Reese's released a special edition peanut butter cup with banana creme inside. Sort of an homage to Elvis' famous peanut butter and banana sandwich diet.

I have to say, they're pretty damn good. I try to avoid eating too much candy, but they sure are a nice treat.

I thought they were pretty good too. One of my co-workers bought a bag of them, and I tried a couple. I just wish that the banana was a bit stronger, since the peanut butter still completely overshadowed the banana by a lot.

Hmm, I don't know. Now that I think about it, it has been awhile since I've seen those.

Has anyone ever made those Reese's No-Bake Brownies? I tried them on a whim a few months ago. There were alright, but damn if I didn't think they'd give me a heart attack. The taste is just so rich, its hard to eat more than a little square of it.

As for the Elvis cups, I do agree that the banana could be stronger. The peanut butter mixture Reese's uses is just so strong, they need to add better banana flavoring to really pull this off well. I still think they're good, but...

I agree with the sentiment that the banana flavoring needed to be stronger; I ate mine chilled from the fridge and could hardly tell there was anything different about these.

As for peanut butter cups in general, surprisingly, I'll take the Sam's Choice cups over any others.

I haven't had the Elvis ones, but I have had the PB and Banana ones. They're regular PB cups but instead of chocolate on the bottom covering, they have banana flavoring.

I like them.

they were good. nothing to write home about, but good. way better than the caramel ones, thats for sure. the classic is still the best though. i also like the white chocolate ones.
