Has anyone ever used Vonage? How is it?
Does it work with Tivo? I haven't done much research at all, but I have a buddy that is curious, and he sucks at the internet, so I am trying to help.

I have Vonage, i have no clue what it has to do with TIVO. I like it, it's not perfect but for 27 bucks i will take very little echos, the call waiting beep can be heard by both parties...other than that it's good. I have had it for the last 2 weeks.

I meant Tivo using it to make its daily call. Thanks for the info on the quality though.

Go to one of the Tivo fourms and do a search on Vonage. I know it can be done you have to do a bit of tweaking but it isn't hard. I never learned becasue I was leaving at the time but, I know that it is possible. I also heard that Vonage is working with Tivo to insure compatability but I don't know how far that has gone down the line. PM Pheonix, he knows how to do it.

Here's a tip - call Vonage and tell them you want to cancel. They will give you like 3 free months, lower your rates and everything. I signed up then cancelled and they tried everything to get me not to.

Are you sure you called Vonage and not AOL?
