We're having an issue with this here at work. Sometimes when a fax comes in, it is recieved by WinFAX Pro on our PC and we can print it out. Sometimes the faxes just get accepted by our night fax machine, and WinFAX Pro gives no notification that a fax is happening.

Anyone have any idea what would cause this?

if the "night fax" machine is hooked up to receive on the same line as winfax, the incoming fax it picks up would be blind to winfax

shut off the night fax or have it pickup after 6 rings (or so) and have winfax auto receive on 1st ring.

We've got WinFax set up to pick up after 2 rings and the night fax machine set up to pick up after 4. This is a problem that doesn't happen often, which is what makes it so bad. We'll think we missed a fax every now and again, only to find out it went to the other machine.
