Apex 2014 | Fighting Game Tournament | Jan 17-19

100 people signed up for Pokemon making it the biggest non-Smash game! Looking forward to the finals even if this is a terrible weekend for it :(

Oh man, I'm so fucking pumped!! What have I missed so far?

edit: I have teamspook, 8wayrun and clash now running in the background. mmmmm

I don't even know, I had class -- the most you missed that I saw was an exhibition between Kage and aMSa (Ganondorf vs Yoshi) in which aMSa won 3-2. Was a really hype set.

Not sure about pools action, though.

This Brazilian Fox looks really good so far... hm...

Also, PewPewU lost to Excel_Zero, a Peach main from Puerto Rico.

Honestly, I've started watching these streams this year and love it, but shit like this shouldn't be happening. Matt something was destroying the other guy earlier, led the set 2-0, thought he won the set but it kept going to a 3 out of 5 and he lost 3-2. Now they say the rules are 2 out of 3. He got robbed and it's really amateurish that such a basic rule isn't clear to everyone participating.

I can't find the stream for Brawl tournament (Mainly for Project Melee which would start in 30 minutes or so.)

Some matches in Melee tournaments are the hypes.

Really though, why are pools WF/LF best of 5 anyway
it doesn't make sense
