you haven't watched much of the apprentice then. he is always going off about college and school. Trump graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance in '68And Trump seems giddy at the chance to suggest that college isn't worth shit.
Actually, the "real world" (whatever that might be) suggests that you're more likely to find success and have the right tools if you go to college. And that's the truth. But that's not to say that people with the right mindset and great experience can't compete with people that have several years of education and limited experience. Also, of course college grads can be stupid. It depends on the quality of the school or the field studied.Lil' Dice said:That's life, unfortunatley the real world equates college degrees with intelligence and common sense. I personally know many college grads who are as dumb as a sack of shit...
You're right, I haven't. I've seen the Apprentice a couple times. In short, I find it irritating. The only reason why I'm watching it this time is because my friend told me about the 'Streets vs Books' gimmick and I think that's interesting.element said:you haven't watched much of the apprentice then. he is always going off about college and school. Is that an actual characteristic of the people chosen? Because many college grads work harder than anyone, either getting awesome grades and thus scholarships, or working full-time to pay for their own education.element said:the biggest thing trump likes to see even more then education is hard work. which the street smarts team has a distinct advantage, because they have had to work for everything. while the book smarts team are all silver spoons or free ride kids.
I know lots of kids like that. But the people selected for the Apprentice have that 'i could buy you' attitude to them.Because many college grads work harder than anyone, either getting awesome grades and thus scholarships, or working full-time to pay for their own education.
