Arc System Works announced they will publish the ProjectMoon-developed action-adventure game Library Of Ruina on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, to release in Spring 2024. The developer released a new trailer that showcases characters and gameplay and also confirmed there will be a physical release.
Library Of Ruina initially launched on PC via Steam in 2021, and will now come to consoles. Druing Library of Ruina, players are immersed in a world shrouded in mystery, revolving around a library unlike any other. The protagonist, Roland, stumbles upon this library and finds himself intertwined in the fate of Angela, the head librarian and director. Together, they embark on a quest to complete the “one absolute book,” unraveling the enigmatic nature of the world and its denizens along the way.
The game seamlessly blends strategy and chance in its unique Library Battle Simulation. Players must carefully select their Battle Pages and strategize based on the data of the guests (enemies) who visit the library. The outcomes of these intense receptions (battles) hinge on the roll of the dice, adding an element of unpredictability to the gameplay. With over 100 hours of gameplay, Library of Ruina offers a rich narrative and intricate card-based battles, ensuring players are thoroughly engaged. The captivating soundtrack and art collections further enrich the immersive experience, allowing players to lose themselves in the game’s intricate and mysterious world.
