Yes, and what a great deal it is. Now every Londoner will go out and buy a couple tons of steel.

Anyway, on topic, it's just the latest in a long line of ugly structures Londoners have allowed to be erected that defile a once beautiful city.

The Eiffel Tower was considered an ugly-ass hunk of metal for decades. They were going to tear it down until France realized it'd make an awesome radio tower around World War I.

Not that this will necessarily become Eiffel Tower status but I imagine Britain will grow fond of it. Eventually.
 
Wait, you mean they aren't going to tear it down after the Olympic games? Shit London, you done fucked up.

Except that the tower has interesting design proportions and it's visually pleasing. And it looks like a tower, not two construction cranes that crashed together.
