...Or is it all in our heads?
The "St. Ides" thread got me thinking ... do different types of alcohol produce different effects on your brain? I always read how people will react to a certain type of alcohol and they seem somewhat consistent. Wine and champagne makes people giddy and talkative, beer has a mild sedation effect, malt liquor can make you completely lose your rationale, etc. Obviously, at some point drunk is drunk. But I am talking about reasonable amounts of said liquors.
Even among some common liquors, 3 shots of tequila give me a different feeling than what 3 shots of vodka will give me. Vodka makes me very relaxed almost sleepy, whereas tequila has the exact opposite effect. Or is it all in my head?
