My brother's telling me how buying a DLP hdtv is better than an LCD or Plasma, but I never see any ads for any DLP sets. Was this technology made moot by the success of LCD and Plasma?

DLP is a rear-projection technology ... not a flat screen.

However, there are a few makers that have wall-mountable options. They are about 6" deep I believe (Thomson comes to mind).


As far as it being better? Well, that is going to be implementation-specific. There are pros and cons to all techs out there.
