So, do you smoke? Cigarettes, weed, or other inhalable stuff.
I myself am a smoker. I smoke cigarettes. Tobacco, to be precise. I roll my own cigs cuz a pack of cigarettes is expensive.
I smoke about 35 cigs a day. It relaxes me and yeah, I'm addicted. Been smoking for about 10 years.

What about you?

No, I like my health. I smoked a lot of times on gatherings, party's etc. just for the lulz and that shit doesn't affect me at all. The buzz is so insignificant that I seriously ask myself how one could be addicted to this and not be able to stop at will.

I smoked hookah once through the power of peer pressure. It tasted awful and I had a massive headache afterwards.

Walking past second-hand cigarette smoke usually causes me to go into a coughing fit so I've never really wanted to mess with any of that personally.

I do not take drugs, but why take a drug that is extremely addictive and not even makes you happy?

I was a smoker a long time ago in a galaxy far far away (Art College/University) but I can't fathom smoking these days given the overhead.

No, stopping to smoke is more beneficial than thought, smoking is every bit as detrimental as thought.
Yeah I probably could have worded that post better, regardless it looks like new research shows that effects from smoking may not be permanent.

Which is entirely new and shows we don't know the full effects of these chemicals on the body.

After watching this clandestine&rural tobacco commercial about the negative effects of nicotine, nah man no thanks ...
Nicotine itself is less harmful then caffeine. It's all the other chemicals that ruin it.

You know nicotine naturally occurs in tomatoes and if you ever eat a tomato you are ingesting nicotine. Right?

I think it is more a matter of not knowing some protective functions of the body. And of course it is still true that we do not know all effects of the chemicals in tobacco smoke on the body, but for the ultimate effect, we have statistics about death rates from associated diseases and the one thing we do know for absolutley certain is that smoking is slow motion suicide.

So is going outside, or living beachfront.

We don't even have a beginning of an understanding of what WIFI and Cellphones are going to do to us.

Cigarettes are going to be the least of our worries soon.

Yes, I smoke cigarettes. Dumbest shit I've ever subjected myself to, and I've done some dumb shit. I'm a relatively light smoker (like 4-5 on a regular day), but can knock back close to a pack when I'm drinking.

Ex smoker.

I smoked for 20ish years. Last year in August I woke up and felt like I couldn't get a good full breath. Went straight to the doctors and after a few tests I was diagnosed with Eptotic beats which is where my heart beats from a different chamber first, it's pretty harmless.

Doctor advised me to kick the cigs and stop smoking weed, I'm 5 months without a cig now and am feeling loads better. My heart has gone back to normal, my skin colour is a lot better I no longer smell and have nasty nicotine stains on my fingers.

Admittedly I switched to a vape but I'm just not stronger enough to tackle to both cannabis and nicotine addictions at the same time. The vape is only meant to be short term replacement so I'll be kicking that soon.

OP do you have knowledge of this?

I think that's illegal in all Europe except Sweden. But I'd like to try it, chewing tobacco always fascinated me.

I smoked weed for a couple of years. Probably from age 18-20. I can't do it anymore because it just conflicts with my meds and makes me sick. I smoke cigarettes, though, and have been since age 20, I think. So, basically almost 14 years now. I've quit a few times, but I have always found my way back. I smoke about one pack a day, maybe less.

No it's completely legal in here, from previous year. It's everywhere on the gas stations, etc. It was not previously. Czech Republic in here. Currently having Syberia White. I have never been smoker, but since I find out how great this shit is, it's hard to not, from time to time, get my dose of Nicotine.

I quit smoking cigarettes about the time my son was born, I was never a heavy smoker, half pack a day at most. I'm not gonna lie, it's one of the great hedonistic pleasures in life and if I found out I had a terminal disease the first thing I'd do is buy a pack.

Cannabis I use pretty much every day and don't see any scenario where that is worth quitting, adds way to much to my life.

Funny thing about smoking, my parents and their parents generation smoked like chimneys, but we know they were healthier than the average person walking around today. Look at crowd shots in cities from pretty much anytime before the 70s, people were much healthier. This is the first generation that is actually dropping in life expectancy.

I smoke cigarettes and e-cigs. Cigarettes at work and pubs/restaurants, e-cigs at home. A little under a pack a day. I'd like to quit some day.

I would occasionally vape but, in five days, flavored vape juice or whatever you call it will be illegal to sell in the US so I'll have to stop playing the douche flute.

haha no I'm good.
Meth has some pretty bad side effects.

Well luckily for you that right there is a crack pipe, no meth involved whatsoever!

As for me I stopped smoking a few years ago. I think about it almost daily and even have dreams of smoking cigarettes. I know that if I grab a smoke off someone I'll be right at the store picking up a pack so I just stay away.

Turns out that smoking may not be as detrimental as we thought and I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Like a lot of things in life, smoking is only bad if you're genetically predisposed disposed to it. Just like cdiff is highly contagious and virtually everyone that works in a hospital has it but they have no symptoms because they aren't genetically predisposed to it.

I know at least 10 people in the ages of 60 to 90 that smoke and have all their lives and dont suffer any problems. A friend of my grandma has been smoking about 60 years and her problems are she has arthritis in her hands and terrible hearing. I smoked 30 years and have no problems. Although this will be my last week doing it because I dont like spending the money, I dont enjoy it really much anymore, and it's too much of a hassle.

Hand rolled unfiltered with special sauce/spices, 3 times the strength to regular which makes it more of an occasional treat. Tastes good and smells good and I enjoy it. I don't overdo it or let it control me, that would be pathetic and weak. Been going too many times without smoking for months, no issues.

Thank you Brate (Balkan Brother) for the inspiration, been wanting to light one up for some time now. :messenger_smiling_hearts:

If you don't have a "prilla" under your lip at all times why even live?

"prilla"? I know this as a Swedish Snus...

I smoked a little weed in my younger days. That's about it.

I never really enjoyed smoking it, I preferred edibles

When I was younger I worked in a casino for a little over 2 years as figure I inhaled enough second hand smoke for a lifetime then
